This store looks so small from the outside, but it’s really got quite an extensive selection of wine, beer and spirits! We were shopping for a variety of people and had no issues finding crowd-pleasing brands that we’ve had in the past. Prices are about average for the area I’d say. We did find a few good bottles of wine on sale. Folks at the register were friendly/helpful too. Overall a nice shop!

I used to be a regular customer. They knew me well. One day I went to buy a 12 pack of beer that I bought quite regularly. They were sold out, so I grabbed two six packs instead. Rather than charge me, a VERY regular customer, the 12 pack price, they charged me for TWO(2) six packs. The increase was negligible, but it was the principle of the matter that will prevent me from ever going back. One could argue it would have only cost me a couple more dollars, but it could be argued that it could have cost them a couple of dollars to retain a VERY regular customer. Their prices are not the best in the area to begin with. Their cashiers seem friendly enough to take your money in exchange for liqour, snacks, and lottery tickets, but when it comes to customer loyalty, there is none of that going on at McKnealls, therefore I would encourage you to go elsewhere.

Possibly the lone survivor of the strip mall it’s located in, but for good reason. You can find me there on 10% off wine Tuesdays. It’s conveniently located on the way home from work, complete with a drive through. They have a large selection — for example, almost every flavor of wine from local MD wineries(whereas in most stores in this area, you’d only find 1 or 2).
