O’Charley’s Restaurant & Bar

Very busy night when we arrived. Still food and service was above average. We eat her often as our standard place. Most everything is great. Steak and chicken fingers are very good. Great tea. Will eat again here

The steaks are good here. The fries are amazing and so are the soups. The kids grilled cheese is so so. The new remodel looks good. Overall it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t amazing so we will be back.

Got the ribs, it was decent. The waitstaff was very friendly and laid back, atleast to those out of town. The portions were filling as well. I personally think this place is overpriced but I had a good time there.

We ate here a few weeks ago & it was excellent. Tonight was awful! The rolls were bad. The meat in my salad & in my husband’s pasta was both overcooked & dry. Had to ask for more water.

I’m glad they finally have a really good menu the only problem is the service. The the last 3 times I’ve been there we have a really good server but they are spread thin so the experience isn’t that good. It’s frustrating seeing a server over worked and then seeing 2 or 3 managers just hanging out

Restaurant was dirty. Asked them to wipe off table, but it was still sticky. Plates given to us for rolls where all 4 dirty. Food was ok. The service was mediocre the couple behind us got all kinds of attention because they knew servers and manager.

Apparently the management wasn’t prepared for the no-​school election day of Tuesday the 19^th of May. With much of the restaurant empty we still waited for 15 – 20 minutes for a table, but that’s what you do sometimes. I’ve eaten at several O’Charleys, with good food and had a good time. Not this time. After a 25 minute wait for our food — we’re now 40 minutes in the door for lunch — my food came in a hideous fashion. Their menu promoted a catfish dinner. It consisted of tasteless warm coleslaw, cold hard fries, burnt empty shells of hushpuppies and two tiny (2“x3″) pre-​breaded «fillets». Disgusting. Management tried to correct the problem. But the same «fillets» were brought back on my plate having been either re-​dropped in the grease or miked along with another piece of fish that actually qualified as a fillet. The next hushpuppies still burnt, and nickel sized accompanied a new order of fries — which was all I had time to eat for my guests had finished eating before I could start. The dry slaw was apparently forgotten. I was out just under $ 50 for the three of us and left hungry. This particular O’Charley’s doesn’t quite meet the standard others have set. There are plenty of choices in this area. Move on to the next eatery.

Horrible service and lackluster food. I try this place about twice a year. Each time it’s because I’m with a group and this is where they want to go. Each time I get sick from the food and ticked off by the service. Worst place in Owensboro.

The best steak house in town, by far. Prices are fair. Service is good. Food is brought in a timely manner but not too fast. Usually a short wait but no wait at lunch. Would recommend to any one.

The food is most always very good. Have tried most of the menu and you really can’t go wrong. Just be sure you have plenty of time. The service is very good but it takes a while to get your food and check, not a bad thing just don’t go if you are in a hurry

The food is usually great, especially the Loaded Potato Soup. but it takes FOREVER to get your food/​check. Really great sweet tea & lemonade!
