History

Established in 1919.

The Don Moore Automotive Team has been an automotive leader since it began as Short Brothers Motor Company in 1919. Over the years, with the expansion of more stores and new ownership, the automotive group became known as Don Moore Automotive Team. What began as a single franchise dealership has now grown into an automotive team of 13 franchises, including Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Ford, GMC, Honda, Hyundai, Jeep, Nissan, Scion, and Toyota.

In 2006 Hyundai was also added to the family of dealerships and placed at the newly remodeled property on south Frederica.

Almost 100 years later, we are still trying to redefine the car business with humility, integrity, respect, and strong moral values.

Meet the Manager

Ronnie L.

Manager

Ronnie is carrying the torch into the 5^th generation. He grew up in the car business in Texas and married into the car business in Kentucky. He often jokes that he was doomed from the start but in reality, considers this opportunity one of the greatest blessings from God in his life next to his wife and boys. He is pushing hard to create a selfless environment where everybody’s needs are considered over their own. Ronnie feels the weight of carrying on what has been established for over almost a century but is excited as well to see this business impact other businesses and the community with humility, integrity, respect, and strong moral values.
