Can not say enough good about Dr. Dycus. He’s so caring and spends so much time discussing all of your issues. I take my elderly aunt here who has limited means and he takes such good care of her. He gives us samples of meds when he can which saves us from having to purchase costly prescriptions that sometimes just wastes money if it’s something she can’t tolerate well. I would say he’s an Oviedo jewel but from having Dr’s for me, my spouse, my children in several states where we have lived, he is the best that I’ve found ANYWHERE. Wish I could give him 10 stars here(or more). He’s just that good.

I cannot say enough good things about thus Dr. I am usually very leery of any Drs and I really do feel Dr Dycus cares and will do his best to help you. He is very thorough and very caring and kind The front receptionist was very professional I highly recommend him for your primary care if you are I need of one.

I cannot tell you how absolutely pleased I am with Dr. Dycus and his staff. Not only is Dr. Dycus caring and compassionate, he never rushes you, yet somehow manages to do pretty well with keeping appointments on time. When I have my yearly physical, he calls me personally with the results of my blood work! I don’t have to access a website or use a password, it’s truly personal service. I also had quite a scare when I passed out after a blood draw(nothing wrong on their part, just me!) and Dr. Dycus and the staff were so caring. They stayed by me and looked after me until I was good to go. I am also always impressed that Dr. Dycus allows students to come in to his office and learn. It shows how much he really cares. I will definitely be a long time patient!

Over the years, I have learned to hate going to any doctor; it is little more than an assembly line, with no «care» being delivered nor any attention to what’s being said. Dry Dycus and Downing take the time to listen, and I have NEVER felt rushed or nor have they been dismissive of my concerns. These are two of the best three OLDFASHIONED docs in this area. I cannot recommend them or their nurses, enough. Kind, caring, and very knowledgeable.

Dr. Dycus is one of two doctors that own the Family Health Center of Greater Orlando medical practice. First off I love this office, it is always clean, they have a huge TV, plenty of magazines, a water dispenser with paper cups, plenty of chairs(so you can distance yourself from sick people), and they have a few games for kids to play with. The office staff and nurses are also always very nice as well. The best thing about this medical practice is that it is similar to an urgent care center in that you DON’T need an appointment to see the doctors(Dr. Dycus or Dr. Downing) or the Nurse Practitioner(Michelle). You can walk-in and see someone within the hour. In the past five years that I have visited this doctor’s office I have usually gotten in to see somebody within 20 – 30 minutes(and I have gone early in the morning early afternoon(3PM), and even on a Saturday. The one time I had to wait an hour was on a Monday during flu season, which the nurses told me is usually the worst wait time, because people always get sick on the weekends :) This location also has X-ray machines, can do pap smears, and blood work all in the same visit usually(unless you need to have fasted). As for Dr. Dycus he is one of the kindest doctors I have yet met. I appreciate that although he can get quite busy he really takes the time to listen to your concerns and give you various solutions and alternatives for treatment. He’s even willing to tell you where the deals are for prescription meds(he’s the one that told me to go to Publix for free antibiotics). Also, if the treatment can be done in the office, he will do the procedure himself instead of handing it to a nurse. The first time this happened I was shocked, most doctors I have been to pawn me off to a third party. He was also very helpful on my recent trip to Korea during the Swine Flu scare, he prescribed a few medications and gave me instructions and ideas on what to take with me on my trip in case I got sick. Korea at the time was in the middle of their yellow dust season, and I was scared of getting the flu or malaria while overseas. I would definitely recommend Dr. Dycus, or visiting this practice to see the other fine Doctors and nurse practitioners :)
