I happened upon this food truck today. It is located on Highway 280 in front of the shopping complex that includes Best Buy and Saigon Noodle House. I had two tacos (Asada and Chorizo) and a pinapple soda. These are authentic Mexico City style street tacos. Two corn tortias, chopped meat, onions, and cilantro. Yum. I sat with the owners (Edgar and wife) on a table that is setup under a worn tent. Edgar told me they have been open for the past seven months. Their hours are Monday thru Saturday from 10:00 to 7:00 and on some Sundays.

I just moved here from California where I’m used to seeing food trucks on every corner. This is the first one I saw here in Alabama, YUUUUUMMMYYY TACOS! I think they have a sister truck in Pelham called El Korita. The tacos are really good! And the green salsa is AMAZEBALLS. Lol They are open 7 days a week from 10 – 10.
