Game Haven is a local business with the goal of providing a safe place for kids and adults of all ages (12 and under must be supervised by an adult) to spend their time.

The front half of Game Haven is a table top gaming/​lounge area with concessions and free WiFi access. Feel free to come in and hang out!

The back half of Game Haven charges an hourly rate of $ 3.75 to play on the game consoles, arcade machines, foosball tables etc. No quarters necessary, your hourly rate gets you as much gameplay as you can handle.

History

Established in 2013.

Owner Gabriel Escobedo has always wanted to provide something for the community that would benefit youths and adults alike. Game Haven is a drug/​alcohol free environment where people can play games and meet people with similar interests.

Magic The Gathering is the game that started his interest in collectible card gaming in 1994 and fueled the idea of opening up a game shop. Today this game is a large part of our sales at Game Haven. Some of his best memories are playing Super Smash Brothers and Perfect Dark until five in the morning.

In planning Game Haven Gabe took ideas from his own gaming experiences and the ideas of fellow gamers to make the environment that they wanted to play in. Game Haven was made by gamers for gamers.
