History

Established in 2011.

The Pie Bakery began in April 2011 with one day a week of rented kitchen space and the idea to sell great pies at a good price. In November 2011, we were so excited to open our own location on Metcalf, but after seven grueling months of going it alone, we were delighted to partner with Hillwah Donuts and More. Now, we’re baking with friends! Come by and see the fabulous results.

Whitney loves to make things with her hands, she loves to feed people delicious food, and she loves to tackle impossible projects. Starting a pie bakery in the worst economy in a generation seemed to fit all three requirements.
