Preston Court

I moved in here in December 2013. Ive lived a lot of places (9 apartments in 5 states in the last 10 years) and this is my favorite. The rent is reasonable, my kitchen and bathroom are updated with brand new appliances, its quiet, safe, and at least where my apt is located, quite pretty. I have no idea what the last reviewer was talking about when it came to crime. Ive never seen a police car here and we’re surrounded on all sides by nice middle class, single family homes. I can’t speak to their experience with maintainer as I haven’t had a reason to call them. Im towards the back of the complex and I can’t even hear the traffic on 103^rd. The buildings are older, but that means they’re surrounded by old growth trees. The pool is pretty small, but well maintained, as are the grounds.

I’m not one to give bad reviews, but DO NOT LIVE HERE!!! During my time living here: the management was rude, inattentive, and just plain ignorant to EVERYTHING. While living here, I noticed nothing literally nothing short of hell: the cops were coming every weekend, the management was overtly rediculous (threatening to fine me– as they attempted due to litter out front-​which is their responsibility per the lease agreement), and due to sub-​par and aging pluming my basement was flooded with human feeces and waste (literally FLOODED– contact me for photos) due to broken plumbing pipes THREE TIMES! (The first two took over a week for maintainence to address, the third lasted over 2 months till we moved out– they then tried to fine us over $ 500 for a ‘soiled’ basement.) Among other notable complaints: the walls were cracking due to faulty foundation, almost all appliances (fridge, dishwasher, oven, ect.) were either fixed improperly or broken, and the neighborhood itself was very crime-​ridden and poorly kept. I’m not normally one to complain, but considering this is a meerly condensed version of my complaints with Preston Courts, DO NOT LIVE HERE OR YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!
