This place is great! After seven years of unhappiness at my previous job, I finally decided it was time to get out. I put my resume in with a few different recruiting agencies and really had no luck. Finally I tried out The Mergis Group. After about 2 or 3 months they not only had me a better job, but the best job I have ever had! Debbie was the recruiter that I worked with. I met with her once for an interview and she was extremely professional and asked all the right questions to ensure that I was placed where I would really thrive.
I really hate looking for a new job – I hate the whole process! Debbie made it very easy by doing all the communicating and negotiating with my new employer. All I had to do was tell her what I wanted and then later accept their offer. She got me a great salary and good benefits – more than I expected! After I accepting my new job, she called me several times to prepare me, just by telling me what to expect, how to succeed and even discussed feelings I may have, such as fear of starting a new job after 7 years at another. Throughout the first couple of months of employment, she called in just to check on me and to make sure I was pleased with the job. I was touched and impressed.
I know times are hard right now and jobs are scarce – but if you are looking in Kansas City, I strongly recommend giving The Mergis Group a call!
