I popped in here to look for a new knife block and about peed myself. Kitchen gadgets EVERYWHERE! ZOMG! I wandered around in here for an hour finding 100 different things I don’t really need(mango pitter? whisk with a pig handle?) when I finally had to leave to go get sustenance. They have anything and everything cool, weird, and bizarre that you would ever need in your kitchen. High end, low end… you name it. I didn’t even get through the entire store before I had to leave and it’s not a very large store. About the size of an average Claire’s Boutique at the mall. I left with a bitchin’ new knife block, a mixing paddle with rubber squeegees for my Kitchenaid stand mixer, and some cute cupcake cups. I need to stay very far away from this place or I’ll have to buy a 2nd kitchen to house all my crap.

OMG, I *heart* needless kitchen utensils! Le Gourmet Chef does not disappoint, being FILLED with totally pointless, utterly adorable and amazing«really?» kitchen momento’s. Case in point, a build your own Turtle Cake Pan(meant for kids birthday cakes), where it’s like cupcakes, but it all fits together like a puzzle. Or a heart shaped egg ring(for Valentine’s day?), or measuring cups that have little bodies as the handles… hah! I love this stuff! Of course, they have real kitchen stuff too(but it’s not as fun) – including serious knives, basic kitchen appliances and gourmet food. Though really, you should just wander and laugh at all the cute crap they have making kitchens what they should be, fun and creative.
