I have suffered with fybromyalgia for over 20 years. I have had every kind of treatment including chiropractic and acupuncture. Dr. Shin is the first to help me with my pain. He is very kind and gentle with his treatment. He knows the right thing to do for my problems. Dr. Shin gave me several acupuncture treatments. Dr. Shin explained that he cannot cure my fybromyalgia but he can help me to feel better and finally I have 90% relief. Dr. Shin helped with my insomnia also. I would like to give him 100 stars if I can but there are only 5 stars available to give him.
My husband has being living with IBS for most of his life. Dr Shin gave him acupuncture and chiropractic care which really helped to lower his stress level and helped with some lower back pain. Dr. Shin also gave him some herbal medicine that gave relief for the IBS without any side effects like the other medicine he has tried in the past. My husband is a very skeptical guy. Dr. Shin very patiently explains what he is doing while he is doing it. Now my husband is a believer and feeling very much better.
Dr. Shin trained in Korea to learn acupuncture and herbal medicine and is trained and licensed in the US as a chiropractor and acupuncturist. He is fluent in both Korean and English.

Like most, I was a bit skeptical. 10 years in western medicine has solved nothing. Medication, treatments, procedures and specialists have resulted in symptom smooth overs.
Was referred to Dr Shin and after 1^st visit night sweats and lack of sleep all but ended. Now after 3^rd visit, I can start seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. No magic. Just a understanding of what the root problem is and not just treating the symptoms. This was not just my perception. My Jawbone health tracker has many months of data showing sleep cycles. You can see the changes in the charts. It doesn’t lie no matter how skeptical you are.
Neck and back pain is now understood why it’s happening. With his plan, I hope to have more relief from the pain that has plagued me for years. Excercises are beginning to help.
As for Dr Shin, it’s hard to believe someone cares in this day and age but I’m here to say he does. I would venture to say he cares more of making me right than anything or anyone else has before. He is very professional and personable. His level of knowledge and how he takes the time to explain things fully is second to none. He has no hurry or rush. He wants you to understand. His explanations are thorough and not above your head. He wants you healed period. He’s in it with you not just by yourself.
His caring nature is further shown in the following.
I mentioned my wife’s vertigo and how 3 years of medicine has done little to help. Dizzy when she sits up, lies down or moves too fast. Dizzy to nausea state most every day. Dr Shin said to try a procedure that anyone could be capable of doing on their own. We did this at home. It took minutes and although it made her very sick for 10 minutes, she has not had one dizzy spell for now 5 days. That’s someone who cares about people over the almighty buck. His payment was my gratitude and heart felt thanks for helping my wife rid her of these awful feelings. I am greatful to say the least.
If you are tired of going on for years with medications that do very little, please try and give him a chance. You might just begin to feel better.

I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a reliable chiropractor & acupuncture. Dr. Shin was not only very kind and caring, but also very proficient and knowledgeable as well. I’ve been there more than a month and I feel so much better with my chronic back pain and neck pain.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Shin and am looking forward to going back. I have had some horrible experiences with chiropractors lately, and am so glad I tried this place. Dr. Shin is very nice, explains everything he’s doing, takes his time, and really gets to know you. Like the other reviewer said, he cares about his patients. Along with an initial exam and a chiropractic adjustment, I received acupuncture for the first time, which I had been wanting to do. I was a total baby about having needles put in me, but Dr. Shin remained sensitive to my needs, explained everything thoroughly and kept things comfortable. Looking forward on continuing treatment.

I was definitely a bit skeptical about the whole acupuncture and chiropractic thing before I met Dr. Shin.
He was very nice and I could tell he really cared for his patients. During the time I was laying on a rolling bed/​table? (like a table that massages your back) with hot pads on me — I gotta say it’s great for relaxation– I could hear him talking with his patients that was waiting for him. From what I can hear, Dr. Shin is definitely a friendly guy that gets to know his patients.
Oh and FYI he can speak English and Korean, which would be handy for people that speak Korean only and English only as well. (Guess that was obvious)
I believe he told me the place was new, just opened in January I think.
Still, I felt very comfortable as I was receiving treatment. The adjustment was scary at first, but it didn’t hurt at all! Pretty cool experience!
Now, the main reason I went in was for indigestion, and I know people will say just take tums… well it wasn’t working and Thats why I decided to try acupuncture since people around me suggested it.
Interesting fact … Acupuncture hurts a bit-​like a tingling sensation. However it’s not like a pain that will kill you or make you cry– just a tingling sensation. So was the tingling sensation worth it???
Yes! I definitely feel a whole lot better after that visit! Now the visit didn’t end after the treatment though. He took the time to explain what I can do to prevent indigestion and what can cause indigestion such as eaton too fast or being stressed out a lot.
Overall a very friendly environment and a friendly chiropractor! I would recommend him even if you’re coming in just for chiropractic adjustments. Didn’t hurt and felt pretty smooth. And of course I would recommend him if you were looking for acupuncture. He seems to know his stuff very well and I believe he was fully licensed as a chiropractor and a acupuncturist.
