Incred-A-Bowl

To start out, yes. The rumors are true. Incred-​A-​Bowl is history. I drove up today for this first time In a few months to an empty parking lot and a dead looking (but still lit-​up) building. What a shame.
Growing up, Incred-​A-​Bowl was a hot place to be for teenagers. It was always a good deal, and between the arcade and bowling and laser tag one couldn’t find themselves bored. I threw my first strike there, and my best game ever as well. Always wide open and clean (I forget how many lanes… But there was always an open one). The bar and food were above the bar as far as bowling alleys go, especially in the corner restaurant. Many a kid’s birthday was celebrated in that little niche. I’m not sure what the next generation of 135^th-​er kids will do without Incred-​A-​Bowl, but there is definitely a large hole to fill. Maybe, with any luck, someone will come through to bring it back. Or maybe it will remain a relic. But it will be missed.

Last time I was here it was pretty bad and I thought it was headed for going out of business.

Would have expected more in a place located in OP/​leawood!!! With for people bowling we didn’t even get to 10^th frame. Wouldn’t extend our time so we could finish.

Horrific service. The manager, Jace/​Chase (he didn’t speak clearly) was unbelievably rude without any warning and the rest of the staff was composed of untrained teenagers texting during their shift.

Went during the middle of the day. It was like pulling teeth trying to get someone to help us! It was way too expensive for what we got. The mini golf area needs some major updating. the greenery is all torn and run down.

Last time I was here was back in high school and I have to admit this place hasn’t changed much. Decently clean, friendly staff and a much better smell now that it’s smoke free.
We just played two games of bowling with some friends. The place was packed, but we got a lane after 20 minutes.
If you have little ones learning to bowl, you can set it up so the gutter guards only come up during their turn. That’s nice so everyone on the same lane doesn’t have to use them.
They do have a concession stand if you get hungry while there, the prices aren’t terrible. It’s your standard nachos, popcorn, hot dog, pizza, candy and soda. They also have a bar too for those of age.
In addition to bowling, they also have mini golf and laser tag. We didn’t do either of those things so I can’t comment on them. I do know that they have a pick two or pick three deal so if you want to do all the activities you can for a discount.
This place is pack while students are out of school, especially on the weekends. We had to wait 30 minutes on a Saturday afternoon and they didn’t take lane reservations.
I do know that you can also hold events here like birthday parties and even wedding receptions, for the big time bowling enthusiasts.

This review is 6 years over due. It all started as a bad joke. We should have a rock and roll wedding in a bowling alley. I got married on 777 at Incred-​a-​bowl. It was the happiest/​funniest day of my life. We rented out the Living room area and had 9 private bowling lanes and bar to ourselves. The staff said they’ve never had a wedding here before. They let me pick out the music videos that played on all the TV’s, hooked me up with the catering menu and even took care of my dogs (which were ring bearers) while I said my vows. I know what you’re thinking, «getting married in a bowling alley is so Whiskey Tango.» I’ve been to 100’s of wedding and receptions. Sorry, I’m not doing the chicken dance again. The living room accommodated my wedding party of 80 with room to spare. We said our vows on the lanes while G&R November rain played on the TV’s. After Elvis announced us Husband and Wife the reception began and we bowled the night away.

What a fun place that I never knew existed!
For about $ 20, you can buy a Triple Play combo that gives you a game of bowling, laser tag, and mini golf. The mini golf course is inside and I’m pretty picky about mini-​golf courses. Theirs is delightful. They have the mini-​golf decorated so that it doesn’t even seem like you’re inside a building. The courses are interesting and there’s fun music playing in the area.
My friends and I were looking forward to laser tag the most. The laser tag arena is very small and kind of pathetic, but it all depends on who you’re plying with at the time. We had a great time ganging up on 10 year olds. I even got the highest score out of everyone. Go me!
The employees at each activity station were really friendly. The bowling shoe girl even scraped gum off my shoe for me.
I really enjoyed my time at Inred-​A-​Bowl and would recommend the place as a family-​friendly activity.

I always forget how much fun bowling is for a different date night.
Incred-​a-​Bowl offers 30 lanes for bowling and they also have an 18 hole mini putt putt course (indoors) and Laser Tag. And right now you can mix/​match two games for $ 13.50 per person and this includes shoe rental for bowling!
This is very clean and well kept family fun entertainment place.
We’ll be back!

This is a large family-​friendly bowling ally with putt-​putt and laser tag. We love to go here on snowy days when my kids can’t stand staying inside anymore.

Came here as part of a corporate outing (I love it when we meet sales goals!).
Our group consisted of about 30 people and we rented the private «living room» area on a Friday afternoon.
It has its own bar.
It has its own set of private lanes.
It has couches and a nice lounge/​living room feel. (Not 70s styled either!)
It even has a pool table.
It’s a totally self contained area, you don’t even have to leave to get your shoes or bowling balls.
They had set up a buffet line for us to go through and get food, nothing fancy, just burgers, hot dogs, baked beans, potato salad and all the fixings. It made it quick for us to get fed and get straight to playing. The food could have been a little better. But compared to what you can expect at a bowling alley, I’d say its deep in the acceptable zone.
We all had a great time. Automatic scoring, no problems with the lanes, fun music and lots of TVs to watch. We’re all rooting for our next outing.

My girlfriend and I had the groupon for here so we went here on a Saturday afternoon. The «double plays» that we had were good for two activities (we got to choose between laser tag, bowling, and putt-​putt). We went and glanced at the laser tag and putt-​putt and both looked pretty awful. The putt-​putt course looked like something you would find at an elementary school carnival. We just decided to do nothing but bowl. They were your standard lanes, I will say that it was difficult to find bowling balls that were below 12lbs (and that also didnt’ have finger holes that would only be good for 6yr olds).
Overall we had a fun afternoon bowling. The bar/​snack bar was pretty slow (even though they weren’t busy). When I went to the bar to get a beer and a soda it took forever because apparently they can only get the pop from the actual snack bar (even though the bar had a soda gun). This place is obviously more kid-​oriented and I got a lot of strange looks from parents becuase I was drinking a beer at 1pm. I probably won’t go back here to bowl (there are better places) but it was still an enjoyable time.

Very rude assistance manager… I visited IncredABowl with my kids on early Saturday evening. My kids wanted to play «triple action» where you can pick in any combination of bowling, mini-​golf, and laser tag. On their website, they posted a coupon for $ 2 off for «triple action» which I presented on my phone to the clerk to purchase. The clerk was very nice and told me that she needed a hard copy. In the days of technology and push for being «green», you all know that most of businesses now accept electronic coupons. The assistant manager came up and with literally «red glowing stare me down eyes» said I needed to go home and print out the copy of the coupon in order for them to honor the $ 2 off. As a patron who wanted to give them business, he wanted to show me that he can «exercise his authority as assistant manager on duty» and wear the chip on his shoulder too. He was very demeaning and rude and wanted more about exercising his power. Exercising a little flexibility would have gained a thanks, a compliment and a loyal customer. Too bad… Otherwise, it is a good place to take your kids for a couple of hours of fun.
