Business Owner
Mr. Hagen was born in Tacoma, Washington in a career Air Force family and grew up all over the world. He attended University of Missouri and graduated with an undergraduate degree in Philosophy and a Master of Science in Public Administration. Upon graduation, Mr. Hagen attended Naval Officer Candidate School, Newport, Rhode Island, and obtained a commission in the US Navy. He served on two destroyers, one home ported in New York harbor and the other in Charleston, SC. Following his naval service, he attended Saint Louis University, School of Law and took and passed bar exams in both Missouri and Kansas and began his own practice. He has defended individuals in municipal and state courts throughout Missouri and Kansas. His extensive experience in criminal practice has earned him recognition by the Johnson County Bar Association by naming him the Chairman of the Municipal Courts Bench Bar Committee.
