Specialties
The Owner/Pet bond is the main focus at our clinic. Our mission as a full-service veterinary clinic is to maintain your pet’s health through preventive medicine so that he/she is a part of your family for as long as possible. Should issues arise, be assured that our Veterinarians and Registered Veterinary Technicians are equipped to handle the majority of medical issues. In addition to examinations and medications, we offer soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dental procedures, digital radiography and ultrasound, endoscopic exams, as well as hospitalization. In addition to our medical services, we also offer overnight boarding for cats and dogs, as well as grooming for both cats and dogs. We invite you to visit us at Cherokee Animal Clinic and Cherokee Cat Clinic.
History
Established in 1962.
Cherokee Animal Clinic began treating pets in 1962 as a sole proprietorship under Dr. William Murray. It then passed hands to Dr. Richard Branson, who added the Cherokee Cat Clinic. Both clinics were then sold to Dr. Michael Stenstrom and Dr. James Kontras in 2004.
