History
Established in 1989.
Dr. Cynthia Burlingame established the practice to give quality eye care to local residents. The practice has grown over the years with their patients, and Drs. Cynthia Burlingame, Jay Burlingame, Buffie Mock and Neal Eylar have continued the legacy of devoting the same time and patience to future generations.

Business Owner
Dr. Cynthia Burlingame graduated from the University of Houston, College of Optometry and is dedicated to providing children with thorough learning-related examinations. She promotes long-term relationships with her patients and has been involved in many community and state-wide organizations over her 20+ years of practice.
Dr. Jay Burlingame graduated from the University of Houston, College of Optometry and is a Diplomat for the American Board of Optometry. He specializes in retinal and glaucoma research, contact lenses and nutritional education.
Dr. Buffie Mock graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry and practices full-scope optometry for children and adults. She specializes in ocular pathologies such as dry eye and glaucoma as well as fitting contact lenses and spectacles.
All 3 doctors are members of the AOA, the Kansas Optometric Association (KOA), the Overland Park Chamber of Commerce, and the Optometric Society of Greater Kansas.
