Its a nice little place out of the way and on the river. Although I was here on a Saturday afternoon, there was a nice band, a lively crowd, and good service. Bottom line…(and reason for only three stars) While I cannot talk about the evening goings on, if you are passing by and want a place to stop and cut the trail dust in your throat, its worth the effort. «Where the beer is as cold as your Ex’s heart.» How the eff is THAT possible?

One particular Friday afternoon I had about 40 minutes to kill so I decided to go out of my way to try a newer bar in the area, it is on the river front and probably about ¼ mile off the end of main street, it can cater to small boats on the river has a large out door deck and patio, and that is where all the good news stops. The bar and grill is up a high flight of stairs(probably to shelter the bar from river flooding) so it is not assessable to the handicapped elderly or people who do not like stairs. The lay out is awful as the second you walk through the front door you are greeted by pool tables(see pictures) this is not good for people who are playing pool or the people who are walking in. Once I made it up to the bar I ordered a drink off the tap. It was served in a 12oz came in a plastic cup the beer was a «premium Sam Adams» cost $ 3.50 just shy of buying a beer at a ball park only crappier and a lower volume. Over all this place was not worth my 40 minutes I finished my drink and walked out the door, it would take a lot for me to return I most certianly will not be doing it on my own ambition.
