Horrible store. Dirty! No one helps you if you need it. When someone is willing to help you have to wait up to an hour for the help with anything. Also if you have work and are in a hurry, spend the extra money at mijers. If you are a crazy go to this Walmart

Walmart’s customer service has severely declined over the years. Gone are the friendly greeters at entrances & exits, & helpful guest service reps. This Walmart never has any worker available willing to help or just answer a question. And if you are lucky to hunt someone down, they either don’t know anything or it’s not their area. For this place to be 24hours they are never stocked! I don’t care what hour I shop! Whether it’s 4am or 4pm they are always out of stock. Recently, I was in shopping & stopped by customer service desk to ask a question. The CSR referred me to an Asst Mgr Tim Calling him over to assist. He was so busy trying to form & answer my question I couldn’t even speak! I firmly, yet politely asked him if he would be quiet &LISTEN to my question before trying to answer it. That’s the problem these days. Walmart doesn’t care about it’s customers. They don’t listen or value input nor do they want to hear your concerns. Asst Mgr Tim, turned out to be pleasant enough, once he heard me out and answered my simple question. Managers should know better than to over talk your customers or offer answers when you don’t truly know the individual concern. First impressions are lasting. I don’t want to shop where I feel associates don’t value my money, or whether I’m happy with my shopping experience. There are many other options for my coins. I’m going to start taking advantage of them!

it’s Walmart. There’s not much you can say. They’re almost never out of what I need and being 24 hours comes in handy with my crazy hours. Definitely a lifesaver being less than a mile away from my home

The store manager Kenneth is such a horrible boss to the workers that the workers are rude and miserable which then give poor customer service to customers. I’ve experienced it first hand. This Wal-Mart is not a pleasant place to shop or work in.

You pay for what you get. Cheap store, cheap customer service. All these employees wondering, never someone to help you, or that ever asks you if you need help. Never enough lanes open, takes forever to check out. Most of the employees have attitude and it’s just frustrating. Like get it together Walmart.

Don’t buy a mobile phone here. Their customer service staff is horrible. Yeah, it will cost a few bucks more to buy it somewhere else, but save yourself the hassle in the long run and do it. If anything goes wrong, they don’t care.

Clean, newer Wal-Mart store. My parents do a lot of shopping here instead of the equal in distance store on Route 59 in Naperville. Good for a few grocery items or the few retail items you need. But pick one side — grocery or retail. The store is massive, it feels bigger than any of their other stores. It is agonizing when you need to walk across the entire store because you need say, bananas and an oil filter. Because then you have to wait in line, and the lines here are longer. On the plus side, there’s lots of other shopping in the area. Target, Old Navy, Michael’s, Best Buy, Lane Bryant, and lots more I can’t remember. Still better than the Naperville store. But Plainfield is much better.

I wish I could give zero stars for this one. Aside from pretty reasonable prices, this store is AWFUL! Employees are rude and unhelpful… that is IF you can ever find one. I absolutely hate going into this store, especially when I only need 1 or 2 things because there are NEVER enough registers open, regardless as to the time of day and the amount of people shopping. Huge disappointment!

This Walmart is dirty and their selves are not well stocked a lot of the time. The majority of the employees are not very friendly. If you must go to a Walmart in order to save on prices you would be much better off going to the one in Plainfield they are so much nicer.

First let me say that any other Walmart would get a 4 star review, but time after time this location lets me down. I actually sent the below to their customer service, but thought my fellow Unilocalers should be advised about this location as well: I just did a survey that was attached to my receipt from the last visit. I was upset seeing that the only section that had a box to type in asked about my in and out experience, I took that as meaning the parking lot. That was it. My last few experiences here have been lacking, making me wonder why I still continue to shop here. The pros: overall we usually save $ by coming here; The cons: quite often there are no carts readily available inside the store and we have to get our own from the outside. The produce section is not very fresh: last time we purchased a bag of potatoes and they were mushy the next day leaving a gross residue all over my counter, this last experience there was no spring mix salads available in the larger size and the smaller size expired in 2 days, the bags of salad had ALREADY expired and had black liquid inside the bag or expired the day I was there. These are just 2 of the things I noticed out of 2 shopping trips! Many times we look for items in the dry sections and they’re out of stock. We have to keep reminding ourselves, we save when coming here. The cashier asked if we found everything alright, I told her about my problems and she said«Oh» and that was it. I understand they’re paid minimum wage and don’t want to have to do any more effort than necessary, but at least refer me to customer service, do something! She also was awful at bagging, I had to rebag when I got to the car(we’re talking my snack chips in with cans). As we were leaving I noticed on my receipt that I was charged for 5 cans of something when I had only purchased 4. We’ve been shopping here for years and now honestly, I am thinking of going to the Meijer down the street, it’s gotten to that point.

This Walmart is always clean, well-stocked, and has a very fresh produce selection — something the other Super Walmarts leave to hit or miss. It’s über convenient for us in Aurora, and we don’t mind the drive. I’ve tried their optical services, to order contacts or glasses. Both instances, the staff has been great and very helpful. No hassles, and great selection. Can’t be beat. Also very convenient to other shops on this commercial road.

A Walmart is a Walmart so the variables from location to location are minimal but here are a few notes that might be useful: 1) This Walmart is the cleanest, most organized Walmart I have ever been into. Ever. 2) During the day, the store is lit by way of the sunlights in the ceiling. Yay for going green! 3) The place is huge. Almost too large. I know they have to house a lot of stuff but it takes like a full five minutes to walk from one end to the other. 4) Unlike their competitors, nobody is managing checkout. If the lines get too long, that just means you wait too long. There are about 30 checkout lines but nobody to run 25 of them on a busy Saturday afternoon. This seems odd to me.

Walmart, how do I dislike thee? Let me count the ways. 1. Impersonal mega store. 2. Full of cheap crap. You get what you pay for. 3. Puts long standing«mom and pop» stores out of business. 4. I hate shopping with seemingly the entire town. 5. Zero personal service. 6. Less than zero personal charm. 7. Made to feel like cattle herding through it. 8. Their B.S. commercials about low prices. 9. The impression they care about community when we know they don’t. 10. My hatred for big box stores and Walmart is the king of big box stores. 11. Depending on the location, often I feel the need to shower after leaving one of their stores. I’m sure there are others but I don’t want to waste anymore of my time thinking about Walmart. The Oswego store gets two stars because it’s the cleanest most spacious Walmart I’ve ever been in. I feel a little less about the 11 items above at this store than any other Walmart I’ve been in. Otherwise, it’s a 1 star operation.
