I am an exchange student in this university and I have to say this is a great one! Professors are so considerate! I’m in the communication school and the staff here are professional ones. Besides, I also take course in film making, pro. Dodd is so nice!

Seriously? Don’t bother. Especially in the theatre dept.
With one exception (Mark Cole), the faculty is all non-​practicing: the costume prof has NEVER had a professional position and can’t even hold a summer job a RenFair, the Tech Director did an outside gig at a local dinner theatre and the sets fell down… and they act like they are in high school. They advertise an audio minor, then got rid of the Broadway experienced guy who taught it. If you are looking for a REAL education that will put you in the business, RUN to another school, one that has active professionals with valid field experience.

Oswego is a learner centered college which gives students the tools they need to exceed in the world after college.
I’m a proud Alumni of the college and thank my lucky stars I had a high school guidance counselor that pointed me towards the college.
