History

Established in 2007.

I started Strictly Carpet as a way for customers to find quality, affordable carpets and carpet installations without having to worry about if they are getting the best quality for their money.

Before Strictly Carpet, I installed carpet for 11 years and had seen first hand how different carpets wore and how different installations varied. I would see different carpets being sold and ask myself «why?», «why would a salesperson sell this carpet for this space?» The only answer I could come up with is, they didn’t know or didn’t care about the performance of the carpet in the years to come. So, I’ve always believed when you think you can do it better, it’s time for you to «Do It Better.»

I am also a firm believer in being CFI certified and with other flooring companies that wasn’t a requirement. Being CFI certified has required me to receive extensive specified training in my field.

Business Owner

I was born and raised in Chicago. (Pilsen to be exact) I attended catholic school from K-​8^th grade. When I turned 13 we moved to Ottawa IL. This is where I spent my High School years and where I met the person I would later marry and have two wonderful boys with. After High School I spent time in the United States Marine Corp where I learned the true meaning of «working hard.» After my time in the Marine Corp I moved to Naperville, IL where I learned how to install carpet. I worked in the flooring industry for 11 years before starting Strictly Carpet.

I now reside in Oswego, IL where my wife and I have owned and operated Strictly Carpet since 2007.
