Specialties

«Whitney Lane of Lane Photography is volunteering to give Photography Seminars to interested Veterans at a local Campus.

After studying Photography and Design at Brown, R.I.S.D. and S.V.A., Whitney was Unit Photographer in the U.S. Marine Corps. Over the years, he has traveled all over the world doing Assignment and Stock Photography (including underwater) for various clients.

He also encourages other photographers and artists to donate their time and talents to enrich the lives of Veterans who are at home or who are coming home. It really means so much to them, that someone cares. You give, but you get so much more than you will ever imagine in return. Semper Fi.»

In addition to this, He is also enjoys photographing many Families in his studio, Executives who want new photographs of themselves or their products for their business web sites.

Another thing that he finds very satisfying is Restoring Family Heirloom Photographs which make a great gift for their children.

History

Established in 1980.

I have always had a passion for Photography and Graphic Design which is what I studied at Rhode Island School of Design, Brown, SVA. And was a Senior Art Director for several Ad Agencies on Madison Avenue. In addition to Photography I have enjoyed doing Restoration of Family Photos and making archival copies so they can be passed along to other generations. I was also Unit Photographer in the U.S. Marine Corps. One of the most wonderful gifts is vision. The second most wonderful is how you choose to use it for the benefit of others. Thank you, Whitney Lane /Lane Photography Studio

Meet the Business Owner

Whitney L.

Business Owner

One of the most wonderful gifts you can have is vision.

The second most wonderful, is how you choose to use it.

Having been trained and worked as an artist, I like to bring

a strong design sense to my work.

Very simply. It’s my vision. It’s been my passion for many years. And confirming my love of photography, one of my clients sent me this very nice note which means so much to me. «Thank you so much for being there for our Wedding Day. Everyone responded so well to your photos. My friends have told me, they look like they belong in a Bridal Magazine and all the reprints we ordered came out just as beautiful, crystal clear. A lot of guests asked where we found you. They didn’t even notice you „snapping away“ half the time. You made us feel like an old friend.

Thank you again, from the bottom of our hearts,

Lauren and Gio» That’s the way that I like to treat everyone who calls me to photograph their special event or even to Restore some of their Heirloom Family Photos to pass along.
