AJS Masonry Design

I purchased 40 pine trees from Joey Silva of AJS Landscape Designs, (11 Stone Avenue Rear, Ossining, NY 10 562.) (He uses several other addresses in both White Plains and other NY Sate areas.) Joey Silva also does stonework and may use «masonry design» on his website or billing. His phone number is: 914−438−8845. His e-​mail is:
. I purchased these 40 trees from 10÷18÷14 through 5÷2÷15. Of the 40 trees he planted, 38 are dead or dying. The cost of purchasing the trees and fertilizer and planting is slightly over $ 40,000.
Joey Silva and I had a verbal contract that, similar to all of the other nurseries in the area, where he would give me a 2 year guarantee on every tree he planted. I have a witness who was present at this verbal contact between Joey Silva and I. I have attempted to contact Joey through both e-​mail and telephone. When I called him on (10/​19/​2015) using a blocked phone so he couldn’t identify me as the caller, he promptly hung up on me when he heard my voice. I have been unable to gain contact with him since.
This is an exorbitant amount of money and I am pursuing this matter through The Better Business Bureau, American Express, and legally. He comes off as a friendly and honest person– clearly he is not.
My 40 pine trees, planted less then a year ago, and some less then ⁴⁄₅ months ago, are all in the process of being removed by another company. I cannot afford replanting as $ 40,000 is a great deal of money for me.
Run, do not walk away from Joey Silva if he shows up at your home.
