The Reptile Palace

Palace… far from that! Place is disgusting. Bartenders suck! One of them… maybe the owner… drunk as hell. Went to see a performance and would never go back! Only thing that was good was the sound.

Maybe for others this is a great place if you like loud noise, tattoos, and people who like to get drunk and wasted all the time. Not judging the clientele who goes in there, but not my type.
I personally got freaked out by it. Friends wanted to try the place out, and I will not walk back in there.

My go to bar for live music. Doesn’t matter who you are everyone is treated the same. Unlike the Main Street hipster bars.

The Reptile Palace in Oshkosh is THE place to see bands in Oshkosh. Is it a palace? No, it’s pretty small, and very casual. But it’s a shrine to rock and all of its variations, as they host bands for no cover (check the club listing just to be sure), so you can check out some great talent with no buyer beware remorse!
What’s great about Reptile Palace? Great selection of beers on tap and even more in the bottle, and the price is right! We enjoyed a few Lagunitases, New Glaruses, and others the night we were there.
There’s a pool table, a pinball machine, a great jukebox, and some funky Day of the Dead and Pinup décor, along with helpful bartenders, and good audio. The regulars are friendly, so feel free to pop in even if this place isn’t your Cheers. By the end of the night they’ll know your name and be wishing you many happy returns. To see some bands!

I have to say that this is my favorite place.

Not a dive bar! Excellent music and good beer! You always meet someone cool there.
