History

Established in 2010.

Jerry Vollmer, President & CEO, started in the insurance business in 1977, selling life insurance. By 1982, he had opened his own independent agency, Vollmer Insurance, adding multiple locations over the following 15 years.

After selling his book of business to MainSource Financial Group in 2001 and becoming the President & CEO of the Insurance Division for 9 years, Jerry decided to go back on his own. In 2010, he bought back the insurance division of MainSource Financial Group, hence starting Voldico.

We initially setup Voldico to run operational support for the repurchased business as well as other agencies looking for support to run their agency. In January of 2013, Voldico Insurance became an established DBA of Voldico.

Through Voldico Insurance, we offer opportunities to individuals looking to gain branding and strength in the insurance agency industry.

Business Owner

Jerry oversees the organization to help maintain direction and focus of all administrative positions for sales and operations. He’s been in the insurance business since 1977 with selling life, crop, and property & casualty insurance. Jerry owned and operated Vollmer Insurance until 2001 when he sold it to MainSource Financial Group, then becoming President & CEO of MainSource Insurance. However, in 2010, he purchased the entire insurance division from MainSource Financial Group and started his own insurance operation, Voldico.
