History

Established in 2007.

ATN Inspection Services began operations in 2007after meeting all the requirements of the Arkansas Home Inspectors Registration board for initial training, mandatory testing, licensure and insurance.

Alton received the required initial training at the American Home Inspectors Training institute in Arlington, TN. The National Home Inspectors exam and the American Society of Home Inspectors Ethics exam were successfully completed. Arkansas Home Inspectors License #HI-​1496 was received from the AHIB.

14 hours of Continuing Education is required each year. Alton has completed a minimum of 40 hours of CE each year and instructs another at least 14 hours of CE each year as an instructor with the ABC Home Inspection Institute.

Over 24 years construction related experience. Remodeling, new construction, finish & trim, electrical, HVAC. I have retired from the Osceola Fire Department after 28 years of service. In my position as Captain/​Training Officer at the OFD I was responsible for all phases of operations & supervision of firefighting, rescue, and training for the entire dept. Having done construction related work along with my work at the FD seemed to steer me into the profession of Home Inspection. I enjoy educating people about their new home and making sure that they walk into the process of homebuying with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions.
