The Orting Manor

Cheryl is very nice and friendly! We’ve toured there and it’s beautiful! They seem like very easy people to work with! Very pretty greenery even in the winter!

My husband and I were married at the Orting Manor on August 20^th, 2011. This venue is so accommodating to every ones needs we could not pass it up. The owners David, Mary and Sally, just want you to have the best day possible and allow you to pretty much do anything within the space.
They provide the bottom floor of their home for the bridal party to use for getting ready and pictures, there’s a pool house for the groom and groomsmen to use. The space in the back of the house is very large and can accommodate a fairly large group of guests, we had about 200. The landscape is very nicely manicured and is perfect for pictures. The setup of the back is great, there is a separate area for the ceremony, reception and dancing, all very well laid out. They also provide you with tables, chairs, a bar all at no extra cost. The venue is also very reasonably priced for all that they provide and how accommodating they are. You can use any vendor you choose for catering, flowers, DJ, photographer, etc… I would definitely recommend this venue to engaged couples looking for a place to hold their ceremony and reception.

I absolutely LOVED this venue! David, Mary, and Sally were so wonderful to work with and incredibly accommodating. We had a weekday wedding in the middle of August, so the price was a little cheaper but you get the rental for 10 hours and it includes tables, tents, and chairs!
They will set up and take down and clean up the trash for you which is a huge help when you don’t have a wedding planner and people to do that for you. They also allowed me to come into the venue early if I needed for no extra cost! I assume this is because they did not have any showings or events going on that morning.
The venue looks small from the outside but once you get into the backyard, it is very spacious, serene, relaxing, and BEAUTIFUL! There are fields down the road to take pictures in with a stunning view of Mt. Rainier in the background. Orting is such a small cute town that photos done within the town look great too. We did our first look photos on the front porch of the manor which turned out perfect.
One of my favorite parts about this venue is that you can use your own caterer, photographer, and DJ. However, if you choose, David (one of the owners/​occupants of the manor) is a DJ and has incredibly reasonable prices! He was great to have and really kept our wedding going at a fun pace!
I highly recommend this venue! Wonderful people and beautiful setting =-]
