A complete dive. Smells like beer and piss. Need I say more ?!? This is a bad bar in a good location. Anybody who opens up here with the intention of doing good business always seems to fuck it up somehow. I think it’s cursed after the butcher blew his head off back in the early 80’s.

Food was pretty bad, service is slow, and the average customers look like drug dealing gang bangers. Not a place I will return to. Worst bar in Oroville.

This place rules. I don’t know what all these other yuppies are crying about. Cheap drinks, the bartender was a sweetheart, and they have the best selection of pinball machines in this part of California.

A. Not my kinda place, but it was one of very few open and we were thirsty so we gave it a whirl. B. The BEST bloody Mary I’ve had in a long time. C. Our bartender Tommy was a PRO and super chill — he’s behind the bar Sundays and Mondays.

We came in and the first question I asked was, «how’s the food?» The cook sat up straight and took a breath, looked me straight in the eyes with much enthusiasm and responded with, «Reeeeally good!» Verdict? Worst quesadilla I’ve ever had. I asked for chicken with peppers and onions, came doused with repulsive olives. Cheese wasn’t even melted and it was greasy. Very low quality. Barely any chicken. Took forever for the staff to recognize that we were waiting. Drinks were meh. Staff was nice and that’s the only plus with this visit. I was honestly disappointed that I couldn’t prove the other Unilocalers wrong and give them a good rating, because this place just looks like it would be hip and cool. Won’t be back. I also heard from others about some pretty shady crowds using this place as their usual weekend evening spot, so just avoid this place.

This place was cool at first. They had hummingbirds and some reasonable priced drinks. One day I gave the waitress a big tip and she treated me bad. I brushed it off and went when someone else was working who had treated me well before. He was incredibly rude yelling that I had to leave my backpack near the door. Was he scared I was going to steal an ashtray? Then he told me I wasn’t allowed to play a song on the jukebox. He gave me dirty looks the whole time I was drinking. I got out of there quickly. Never will go back. I’ll go to the depot they treat you like family.

This bar may soon be changing it’s name. Huge inside and $ 1 beers 8 – 10 including Sierra Nevada everyday.
