What a treasure! Eggs from hens that run around outdoors and eat a species-​appropriate diet! I have been looking for this kind of egg, but I usually have to drive one or two hours to get them. Kevin delivers his eggs on weekends in the Bay Area. Communicating my order was super-​easy: I wrote an email asking for the eggs, got a confirmation right away and a reminder the day before delivery.
The eggs are noticeably more delicious than factory-​farm eggs!

We’ve been ordering from Kevin for three months now and have been very happy with the quality and taste of the eggs, as well as how convenient to have them delivered to our doorstep. We’ve also tried the BBQ pork, fried tofu, and honey — all fantastic. I would recommend these guys to anyone.

Most eggs from battery farms live on soy and corn, which aren’t just low in micronutrients, but also increase the omega-​6 content of the yolk and even lead to increased levels of oxidized cholesterol in the people who eat them. They have no taste and very little actual nutrition.
But Kevin’s eggs are different. They’re soy-​free and corn-​free. They come from hens given brown rice, wheat, flax, produce, grass, and whatever bugs they can find. The result is an egg yolk with a better omega-3:omega-6 fatty acid ratio, a hard egg shell (from all the minerals in the chicken’s diet), more vitamin A/​E/​K2, more folate and choline, and most importantly, superior taste.
And c’mon, he delivers to you at no extra charge! Really no excuse not to at least try it out.
His raw wildflower honey is also good.
