History
Established in 2013.
Exhale Studio was founded by Melissa Goble, a local Orovillian, who saw the need for a space where you can not only strengthen your body, but can also release the stress of your day, join your community in laughter, and nourish your mind and heart. With inspiration and support from loved ones, and maybe even a bit of blissful optimism, Melissa leased a space in Downtown Oroville with the goal of not only giving to her community, but also rebuilding her community.
Exhale Studio’s focus is not on attaining the perfect pose but on the journey, whether that is spiritual awakening, emotional growth, intellectual refinement, or physical development. The instructors at our studio maintain their personal practice, study, and integrity in and outside the studio. Our variety of classes are designed to encourage and uplift all who enter our studio, and we strive for our personal best each time we guide a class. We love sharing this practice with you and look forward to seeing you on the mat!
Meet the Manager
Amanda C.
Manager
Amanda attended her first yoga class as a senior in high school and was fascinated with how this ancient practice calmed and cleared her mind. While obtaining her BFA in Theatre at SMU in Dallas, she continued her yoga practice on the mat while studying Eastern and yogic philosophy, meditation, and metaphysics off the mat.
In 2009, Amanda completed a 500 hour Hatha yoga training. Soon after she began teaching heated power flow Vinyasa, emphasizing how breath inspires movement, purifies the body, and quiets the mind. Adding to her body of knowledge, Amanda completed a 200 hour Kundalini yoga training in 2011 and over the last four years she has attended 160 hours of continuing education workshops covering teaching methods ranging from Ashtanga, Vinyasa, and Pilates to Gentle yoga, injury prevention, and Pranayama.
Amanda’s teaching style is playful yet strong, you won’t even notice how hard you are working as you laugh your way through class. With 1,500 hours of teaching experience, s
