I love this AAA. The staff is very well-​trained, knowledgable, and NICE. Thank you for making insurance as least stressful as possible!

I’m in the process of finding a new long-​term insurance agent after my agent of 20+ years retired and closed up shop. I visited with Shannon to get some quotes and can say she’s a straight-​shooter who is going to be honest with you. I’m one of those people that the moment someone «blows smoke» and gets all «salesy» on me, I check out and move on but I got a real, honest assessment from her along with good explanations of her recommendations. I don’t know about the other agents here as I picked her based on my own criteria so please don’t think I am reflecting negatively on other available agents at this location or shilling for her as that is not my intention; just sharing my experience.
As for the entire office though since it is so much more than just insurance even though that is what motivated me to come leave a review; I’ve been an AAA member long enough to qualify for the fancy metal anniversary plate frames and all that time has been at the Oroville office exclusively. I am personally greeted by my first name in some cases, love the quick and efficient DMV services here, and am willing to say the Oroville office is definitely worthy of high ratings I am giving it.

Shannon is lovely. Helpful, kind, and professional. She takes pride in her work and wants her clients to feel that they are in good hands. The good hands of TRIPLE AAA!

They’ve merged the DMV window with the payment-​and-​other-​business window. Great if you want to avoid the DMV; bad if you have other business; you’ll have to wait in line behind everyone else who has DMV business. Count on 15 – 20 minute wait.

Palo Alto Branch.
I have had generally good service here over the years. However, at my last visit, I received really lousy service. I had to leave the line to find a manager, who didn’t want to be found, to ask for someone else to come help people. Reluctantly, he got some more help, who weren’t very helpful at all. An overall attitude of «whatever» seemed to reign (this was a few months ago).
Very disappointing.
