If you are looking for trustworthy, then turn away from this buisness. In February, car was having trouble. Normally I would go to my main servicer, but they were out of town. I needed something done immediately and I chose Swett’s. My car was off in performance and made weird rattling sounds as I drove. The engine light was on when I brought it in.
They contacted me in a timely fashion about what was wrong and gave me a quote. They informed me that my water pump was spent (which it was) and asked for the go ahead to fix it. I said yes and went to get my car the next day. They revealed that the pump was indeed spent. However, the engine codes had nothing to do with the water pump. To add to that, my engine light was still on, my car made the same noises and the performance was still off.
I then brought it to my servicer of choice and we found more problem codes than before. Also, the timing belt was in an incorrect position, possibly causing my car more issues. While my pump was fixed, it wasnt even close to what I brought it in for. I feel cheated from my decision to use Swetts. I won’t be using Swett’s anymore and I would advise anyone else with vehicle issues to do the same.
