Established in 2014.

Southern Security & Fire Inc. was established in January of 2014. After 19 year in the security industry the owner of Southern Security & Fire wanted to offer customers a better customer service at an affordable price. Getting away from the industry standard of long tern contracts and high monthly cost was one of the main goals. We believe if you are not happy with our service we don’t deserve your business. So why would we tie you into a long term contract?

Dennis L.

Business Owner

Dennis Lyke has been in the security industry for nineteen years. He is an expert in the Design and installation of custom home/​commercial electronics. Coming from the installation side of the industry Dennis’s intense expertise makes him perfect for the most complicated projects as well as basic home security. Dennis earned an AS degree from Daytona State University in «Building Construction Technologies», he is a state of Florida certified alarm contractor and factory trained product lines such as Bosch, Honeywell, GE/​interlogix, and Speco. In his personal life Dennis is an avid outdoorsman and car enthusiasts. He resides in Ormond Beach Florida with his wife of 16 years and two sons. He donates his time to the Ormond Pride youth football organization and the Daytona Beach Street rods.
