Amazing German home cooking and awesome service! The guy was so nice too! The cheese spread that they bring out is amazing! We all got schnitzel and it was bigger than our face! Plenty of food for the money! It was around $ 31 for 2 people(tip included). Not too bad of a price for authentic German food!

German comfort food — so good on a chilly day! The atmosphere is kitschy with lots to look at on the walls, the faux fur back rests are soft and comfy and it felt like we stepped off the beach and right into the middle of Bavaria. The dishes were a little pricey, but it is a unique place with exotic beer. I’m so glad I stumbled onto this place driving along A1A.

So yummy! We look forward to going here every year when on vacation. Real authentic German food. Love the cheese spread that comes with the bread, always ask for more to go. Love the Pirogies and schnitzel! Sour kraut soup was surprisingly good. Not too over powering. To finish it off the apple strudel is supper yummy as well. Definitely recommend it.

We were pleasantly surprised, this was real authentic German food in Ormond Beach. The sauerbraten and wurst plates were very good. The red cabbage was outstanding. Very small, very pleasant and nice staff.

So amazing!!! My grandmother rented a hotel for a week down the road. We were searching for something good for dinner so I of course turned to Unilocal. The moment we walked into the restaurant we felt like we were walking into an Eastern European home. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. We were greeted immediately and out drink order was taken. Our waitress then brought bread and homemade cheese spread which was very good. She came back, took our orders and was off. We ordered soup. She came back a few minutes later with goulash soup for my grandma and me and chicken soup for my mom. Both soups were delicious! I would highly recommend the goulash soup. It was flavorful, a real delight. I ordered pierogies, my grandma had knockwurst and my mom had stuffed cabbage. I asked for no sauerkraut as I don’t like sour things. When our meals came they looked fantastic. The pierogies were fresh and light. The stuffed cabbage was good and the sausage also very good. I even tried the sauerkraut from my grandmas plate. I was shocked! It was so good. It tasted a little grilled and didn’t have the stench of vinegar. I would definitely return and honestly it’s worth the drive from Jacksonville!

I studied abroad in Germany last summer for about two months and I must say, the schnitzel was better than any I had over there. Joseph the waiter was friendly, and I have give props to the chef/owner. Overall, a great dining experience

When we got there there was no one out front to seat us. We noticed after we were finally seated that it was VERY hot inside. Server was not very friendly at all. After the server brought us our drinks it took forever for him to come back to take our order. When he finally came back to take our order we asked for some refills and were told that they don’t give refills and we would have to be charged for another drink. If you’re going to keep your restaurant at 80 degrees in the middle of summer you need to give out refills! This place is WAY overpriced! Will not be back!!!

3.5 stars For the potato pancakes and 4 stars for the Schnitzel! I’ve driven past this place for years and always wanted to stop and just had so many other options in the area that I just couldn’t find time. In their defense I did order take out and bring it back to my condo so I’m sure the pancakes would have been better fresh but they were lacking flavor and had been steamed in the to go box by the time I got my hand on them. The Schnitzel was exactly was I was craving. HUGE well coated and still crispy, the mashed potatoes were a great side to top things off. I love cabbage soup and you can tell this one was made in house. Next time I think I will try and dine in and try those potato pancakes again. It’s just plain comfort food, nothing fancy, no frills, just good olé’ comfort food. Give them a try, I should have sooner.

This place is amazing! Quaint and eclectic The jagger schnitzel is to die for and the sauerkraut soup is a delicacy A definite recommendation and a hidden gem I would like to add that the other reviews I read which didn’t give this place at least 4 to 5 stars… I could tell those people had not ever been to Germany or eaten truly authentic German food. They purée their potatoes for pancakes… not supposed to be shredded… just saying…

This is not our first visit and certainly won’t be our last. This is some of the MOST authentic food we’ve ever discovered. The place is small and quaint but it is uniquely decorated and very clean. Everything is enjoyable from the atmosphere to the German beer to the speatzels to the apple strudel. Mmmm mmm GUT!!!

This place is real German food prepared from scratch, fresh and homemade. A little pricey but you get what you pay for and I love good food and good service. you may have to wait for your food but it’s worth it. it’s a very small place and easy to miss as you travel down A1A it’s on the southbound side and they are not open for lunch every day only Fr, Sa and Sun 12n to 3p. their evening hours 3P or 4P depending on the day. They only have about half a dozen tables so you may have a wait but it’s worth it. Try the sauerkraut soup! Yum!

This is a great central european option in the Ormond/Daytona area. The menu consists of wurst platters, schnitzel, goulash, pierogies, cabbage rolls and a few other items. I had a classic wiener schnitzel and I dressed it with squeezed lemon and their mushroom gravy. It was tender and delicious. Be warned, the mashed potatos are fake… I shouldve substituted them for the spaetzel instead. I washed it all down with ice cold Tucher hefeweizen and finished off with a delicious Bavarian chocolate cake. The place is very small and the décor is kitschy. I love it. The service was great and I highly recommend it!

Craving for some german schnitzel, our group decided to visit this place. Food was amazing. It was an authentic german schnitzel with sauerkraten. Taste was very good. However, they don’t have any AC and the place is fairly small. I recommend not to go here in very big group.
