History

Established in 1991.

D & D Garage doors was started by two brothers, Dallas & Denver who were taught the value of honesty, integrity and hard work at a very early age. They started out by installing garage doors from their Dad’s garage in 1991.

Their hard work resulted in their first purchase of another company, Shank Garage Doors in Sarasota. Customers started asked them to service their Garage Doors and Openers further south resulting in the second purchase, Charlotte Overhead Doors in Port Charlotte. They then started another company to continue their growth south, Cape Coral Overhead Doors in Cape Coral.

Their marketing area today starts at the corporate headquarters in Sarasota, then south through Collier County, east to Palm Beach County, north through Port St Lucie, Palm Bay, continuing north to Jacksonville, back west to Orlando, then on to Ocala and up to Lake City, then south to Tampa and St Pete and back to headquarters.
