We specialize in cats. Not just any veterinarian is allowed to say that but Dr. Leslie Nixon, DVM, DABVP (Feline) is a Board Certified Feline Specialist. She is one of THREE Feline Specialists in Florida and one of only 73 in the world. There are 66 Feline Specialists in the U.S.A. And she is also a CVA (Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist). But even though she is a specialist and our hospital is one of the best equipped veterinary hospitals in Central Florida, our prices are still in line with other high quality general practices. But what really makes us special is our staff. They were all hired for their dedication and ability to serve our clients and their cats and their training is exclusively on cats. They are all SPECIAL too.

Business Owner

Leslie Fleuchaus Nixon, DVM, DABVP (Feline) owns Cat Care Clinic along with her husband John, who is the full time practice manager. This teamwork allows Dr. Nixon to practice the best possible medicine without the time consuming tasks of running a business. Dr. Nixon is an Ormond Beach Native having been born in Halifax Hospital. She graduated from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine (magna cum laude) in 1995 and returned to her hometown in 1987 and established Cat Care Clinic in 1999.
