Stop & Shop

Low price. Great selection. Good location. Lots of parking. Easy to get to. I use stop and shop all the time but I have never seen it this good.

So, let’s get this straight.
6PM on a weeknight, when many people are stopping off after work to shop, and while the weekly sale started last Friday (4-​days prior), this store literally have no advertised specials in stock. Oh, not a problem (we thought), we’ll ask a stock person in one of the aisles. Nope, that would have been too simple, as there were none.
Meat and poultry selections were horrid looking as well. The NY Sirloin looked as though it was a cheap cut of chuck-​eye.
Then, this store has two (yes, two) check-​outs open with lines stretching down the aisles, and cashiers working at the pace of snails. Think Cape Codder’s stocking up for a horrible storm type of lines.
Couldn’t a Manager have opened up another line? Or, is that not in their job description? Nah, they’d rather stand over by the courtesy booth and chat with the staff standing around there.
Perhaps this Stop and Shop has forgotten the fact that Cape Cod continues to live, work, and «shop», after the tourists have gone home?
We’ll stick to Shaw’s in the Skaket corners plaza from now on.

Two things…
* I I bought some fry chicken at the store the chicken was juice, but the oil need to change…
* the kitchen staff need to ware gloves, one of the staff taking up the chicken with there hand.

This place is so dirty… try cleaning your bathrooms once and awhile. Prices are high just like everything else on the cape but there is a good selection

This is a good size, clean, and bright store. It has everything to meet our needs during our regular visits to the Cape — and at a very reasonable price. I would recommend not to pack up the house in your car to come to the cape for your vacation — but get most of your essential here.

Grumpy unhelpful staff. Looking for birthday balloons at 6 am and Stop and Shop couldn’t have been less helpful& unhappy to see me. Shaws had 3 people falling over themselves to assist. A+!!!

Have been to this grocery a few time while visiting family on Cape Cod. They always have a good selection at decent prices, especially if you have their club savings card. Employees have been helpful and friendly. This last time they had tons of yummy food to sample while you shop. It can be crowded in the summertime, but it’s to be expected… and your on vacation so who cares?!

This is a typical Stop & Shop. The place is helpful when you have a vacation rental and need to purchase food items but it is expensive.
They also have a bank at this location. This market is pretty easy to find just seconds from the Orleans/​Eastham rotary on route six.
