Our visit to Kemp Pottery was the highlight of our day! We purchased an amazing wood fired piece by Matthew Kemp & had a blast conversing with his father Steven for the better part of a half hour. If you love fine arts don’t miss the opportunity to meet a master craftsman & add a beautiful piece to your collection. We’ll be back!

Very glad that we stop at the Kemp Pottery. Mr. Kemp was very friendly and I fell in love with many of his art works. I bought a tea cup and love it so much. I will definitely visit the studio each time I’m in Orleans.

I came here on Sunday with my family. I really appreciated the beauty of the pottery. I bought a bust of a woman, and it is absolutely stunning. I felt that the prices were quite reasonable and definitely fair. There was so much to love here. The fountains were spectacular. They had a wide range of different types of pieces, from dishes and cups and sinks with pedestals to figural art and even abstract art. It was also nice that the potter was friendly, and explained his methods to my two young daughters. I plan to go back again when we are next on the cape.

We stopped in to check out the pottery here and spent a bit of time chatting with one of the owners/potters. He explained the process that they use and showed us some pictures from their portfolio. They have a few glazes that I love, including a copper patina glaze that is awesome. I probably could have blown a lot of money in this little shop but we left with only a cool frog mirror in the copper patina. I will be back for more!
