Anahata Tan is by far the best tanning salon you could choose on Cape Cod! I simply cannot rave enough about this salon, it’s simply flawless. The staff is so professional and you really trust they know what they’re talking about! If you listen to the advice they give you will be so happy and will almost never burn. The salon is clean and well kept, not to mention serene with the waterfall and music and all the pretty décor. Their top of the line equipment is so impressive, I wanted to try it all!
I tanned before a vacation so that I wouldn’t be pasty white on the beach and my whole experience was amazing. The tan was natural and the color was so rich, I’ve never looked better! I thought this would be a one time thing, but Anahata has convinced me and now I am a tanner for life!

I can’t believe I’m reviewing a tanning salon!
Since I’m blessed with red hair and a super fair complexion, if I go away in the middle of the winter to somewhere warm and sunny (yay! can’t wait to get off this sand bar in cold depressing February) it’s impossible for me to ease into the bright sun. I end up roasted and burnt, heat rash etc, and a raving —-!
I know the dangers of tanning salons, but even my dermatologist suggested pre-​tanning for someone with my skin type.
Lucky to have this place on the outer cape. Super clean, modern equipment, and helpful, friendly gals working the desk.
Now, I’m going to try on my snorkeling gear – again.

Well it rained for most of our Cape vacation so we decided we might as well go to the tanning booths and get some Vitamin D.
The girl warned us that the bulb were new (always good) and gave us a recommended times for tanning as well as lotion suggestions.
We got a little burned at 8 minutes in the 160 watt 10-​minute booth, but better than not getting anything at all!
