Wyndham Cypress Palms

It was nice, but there where a few things that need improvement!
The rooms look clean BUT the Floor was really dirty and you can’t even notice it because it’s laminate wood floors. We noticed once we saw the button of our feet… DIRTY! And we had only been walking inside our room no where else. The room also had a weird smell and the heater was really noisy when we would turn it on. Other then that it was a nice place with washer and dryer half kitchen and it is really close to Disney. There is also food places and a cvs with in walking distance.

Very nice. Clean. Not a high class establishment but definitely a good value for the money. We usually stay in HGVC resorts and this would be a step down but we were very pleased overall. They didn’t pressure us to join a timeshare either, which was a bonus.

Where do I start. I will just number the issues. Here goes…#1: Staff didn’t offer to take us to our room by the golf carts available. They knew we didn’t have a car. One guy surfed his cell phone. We didn’t know it was quite a hike to our room. We pulled our multiple bags past 2 buildings till we got there. #2: No elevator. Oh wait. There was but it was on either side of the building we were in. So to get to our room we had to huff it up 3 flights. #3: We moved to a first level room and a closer to the lobby building which was perfect, but we thought it would be faster to pick up the new keys in the lobby. It rained on us all the way to the lobby. Not just a light rain. Fairly heavy. #4: The presentation for time share owners. It was in another building. Took the entire morning. We didn’t fly to Florida to spend our vacation in a 3.5 hour sales presentation. Oh well. When she didn’t make the sell, the trip back was QUIET. Sales lady wasn’t so nice anymore. #5: toilet in the room had trouble flushing. Jiggled the handle every time. #6: Air conditioner kicked on extremely loud at strange times including the middle of the night so had to keep a door shut to minimize the noise. #7: Air circulation may have been poor. We woke up both having clogged noses and sore raspy throats. #8: Last day (third) we were packing to leave when we killed a medium sized cockroach in the bathroom sink. So glad we saw that as we were leaving or it would worry us the entire time. So overall, it’s a 3 out of 5 stars and that’s because it wasn’t all bad. But we never want to stay at Cypress Palms again. We want Bonnet Creek or pay for a Disney hotel or we just won’t go. The End.

I don’t even know where to start!
We own a timeshare with Wyndham so basically we go to different ones every year,
However this one by far is the worst ever ever ever.
1^st Wifi wasn’t working in our room and when we call the front desk to ask them! They said nothing they can do about it and gave us 1800 number to call.
2^nd when we got to the pool we discover a huge piece of s. t in the water, literally someone did #2 in the pool so we decided to go back to the room to change and go tell the front desk.
3^rd The key for the door didn’t work so when I went to the front desk to fix it the guy was working there took the key from me and asked what’s wrong with it! So while I was explaining to him about the pool problem and the key not working, there was a sugar Ant crawling on his desk so he decided to kill it with my room key and flick it on the ground with my key and then swiped the key in the machine and gave it back to me and said (it should be working now)
Wow seriously wow
A big no more for this (Motel) I mean hotel.
It’s a nightmare.

We enjoyed our stay at the Wyndham Cypress Palms. The location was excellent with plenty of places to eat near by. The ride to Universal was 10 – 20 minutes depending on traffic. We had ¹⁄₁ lock off unit. Just the bigger unit alone was big enough for the 4 of us. I could see how some would complain if they had the smaller of the two units since there’s barely a kitchenette and very minimal walking space. But if you’re lucky enough to have a 2 bedroom or a ¹⁄₁ it’s spacious. The unit was also very clean. The one pool we used big and clean. Although some stayed at the pool until 11 we never heard much noise even though our balcony was very close. All in all we would definitely stay here again.

Have been here multiple times and I am always so satisfied. Clean, nice décor, cookware and the guest activities are great. Great place to stay if you wanna be close to Mickey Mouse but not near him ²⁴⁄₇ lol

Stayed for 7 day family vacation at Disney excellent location. Nice sized rooms, could offer more supplies and have better customer service.(front desk never answers when you call) Biggest issue is every night sugar ants seems to be out of control on nightstands. Overall not horrible but not the best either.

Absolutely terrible service. The woman checking in guests was beyond rude. HELLO IF YOU’RE IN THE SERVICE INDUSTRY YOU BETTER PUT A SMILE ON FOR THE GUESTS. Not impressed at all. Wyndham needs to reevaluate their employees.

This is an update. I am ashamed to say I finally buckled to the repeated requests that I attend the time share presentation. And, it will be no surprise to you, though it made me really mad, that it took more than twice the time «promised,» that I was lucky (read: sarcasm) enough to be swept away to a nearby property that had fancy suites (no mention was made that this was a possibility, which meant I had to scurry to get my kids ready mid-​presentation because I have the unfortunate trait of wanting to finish what I start) and that the sales team, including the manager, only pretended to care about my extreme reaction to this disappointment, telling me a «corporate response» would be forthcoming, as if… My time is worth more than the «gifts» and this gave me oodles of unnecessary stress. They could have resolved this and helped me feel better about the experience TODAY, but chose not to and I think they suck!

Loved it! Beautiful! Great customer service, clean rooms, nice pools! Added bonus was the kids activities. Every day they have a schedule of activities to keep the kiddos busy.
We had a 1 bedroom king suite with full kitchen. It was plenty of room for our family and very peaceful. It was like a home away from home.
We will definitely stay again.

. Excellent customer service, clean beautiful rooms fully stocked with kitchen amenities, even beach towels! Pools were beautiful and the activities center is great for kids! Rooms are spacious and comfortable. About 15 mins from Disney resorts and 30 from airport. We will be back!

I’ve stayed at multiple timeshares and usually enjoy all there is to offer. This location was clean but small. After speaking with others who were staying, it was confirmed that their rooms were awkwardly small as well.
The walls were paper thin. I could hear my neighbors and the cleaning people. This did not make for a very relaxing time.
The people at the front desk were great. The pool area and recreational room were nice.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 5 days and we loved every minute of it! The rooms are very spacious and clean, almost like a 1 bedroom apartment. The location is great, close to Disney, Universal and tons of restaurants. We will definitely be coming back!

Stayed here for one night. We booked a week here for some friends of ours and decided to come stay one night with them. Very nice large unit with everything you could want. Great pools and Jacuzzi. Would like to go back.

LOCATION!!! This resort is almost in Disney it is so close. Loved the location. Rooms were very clean and the resort has went through a remodel to stay up to date. I stayed here in 2004 during a hurricane, but this time was much more peaceful and the power stayed on. ha ha!
It does feature two pools that are not in the greatest location and has a playground. They also have nice grills you can use to cook out on, but location on those are like the pools. There is a pond/​lake and it seems that they try to keep the playground, pools, grills, etc all near that pond. Getting to your room can be a long walk as well since the elevators are near the parking lots.
There is very limited parking for such a large resort. Parking near your room is impossible so you will be walking a ¼ mile across the parking lot to get to your building before hoofing it to your room.
It is not the most quiet condo, you can be in the shower and hear the person in the shower in the next room. A little too close for comfort for me.
The staff is amazing, the sales staff keeps calling but that is there job. Wifi is super fast compared to most hotels.
It really is a beautiful resort and works out great being so close to Disney. It has a few qurks, but who doesn’t.

This is our second stay at this resort. We enjoyed ourselves so much the first time I checked for availability here when planning for this year. Unit was clean, bed a little too firm for my preference but my husband loved it. Everything was close by and we had no trouble getting around.

This was our first time staying at this property and we were very pleased. Although the suite we had was a little dated, it was clean and well furnished. We would def stay here again.
Oh — do NOT ANSWER the PHONE !! It is their timeshare «sales machine» trying to get you to tour and buy. Just ignore the ringing and the notes on the door, and you’ll have a perfect stay :)
Staff was friendly and efficient.

I stayed at this resort back in summer of 2009 and 2010. I really liked this place it was in a nice area. The only peeve I have about this resort was lack of security. No incidents happened during my stay, but it’d be nice just for the extra sense of security nowadays. Overall a very nice stay.

Wyndham Cypress Palms was alright. I’d stay there again if necessary, but it wouldn’t be my top choice.
— The location was ok. They say that they run shuttles to Disney, but the cost of the shuttles for two people is less than parking and not very convenient.
— The pool is in a dumb location — both pools lose all sunlight by about 3 – 4 pm, which means that it’s never warm.
— The walls are pretty thin, which was fairly distracting.
— They changed the wifi password halfway through our visit without letting us know. Not problematic, but annoying.
However, as timeshares go, it was in good shape. Very clean when we arrived, whenever we called for refills of laundry soap or hot chocolate mix they were quick to bring it, and the staff was very professional. (Although they had an awkward moment during check-​in when they asked my boyfriend if we were married, then when we said no, they backtracked to «oh, are you siblings?» Gross.)

Have stayed here 3 times, will be staying a 4^th time in October.
