Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming Thornton Park

I’ve been coming to this location for a few months, but only for treats and toys– which are great! They have adorable little treats they make, and great brands to chose from, with a vast majority of natural products and that’s ideal for me and my pup. I had previously been having my pup groomed at another Woofgang location, but will probably be switching to this Thornton Park store because it was such a great experience.
First off, they don’t cage your dog while they wait! All the dogs get to play together in a little gated off area. Honestly, this part sold me. I hate my dog having to sit in a strange crate for hours waiting for his turn to get his hair cut. On top of that huge plus, everyone was so extremely friendly, from the groomer to the cashier. I knew my dog was in good hands.
His cut came out great, and we will definitely be returning!

I love having this store in the area. I miss Steven, the guy who used to work there.

My friend and I were in the area with our pets and decided to stop in to check things out especially since I wanted to get my dogs’ nails trimmed. It’s located in an old wooden house complete with a wrap around porch at the corner of Washington and Summerlin. You really can’t miss it.
Now this is where the Real Dogs of Thornton Park would shop… lots of treats, toys and accessories to spoil them silly. Check out the sparkly chandelier above the open treat bar. Only the best for your pampered pets. I inquired about nail trims for my dogs. They were able to get a girl from the grooming area to do. I was a little surprised that they used a nail grinder than an actual clipper which we are used to. My dogs were nervous a little because of the sound so I had to hold and comfort them while this was going on. It was actually a sort of funny sight. We were sprawled out on the wooden floors in the dog food area with 2 dogs under 20 lbs. Doggies did great though. Afterwards, one of the Senior grooming employees came to inspect the girl’s work and did a little more grinding on the nails to satisfy her standards.
It’s definitely pricey here as it cost $ 15 per dog to get both dogs trimmed but I appreciated the quick job, compassion and convenience.

I’m a big fan of Woof Gang! However, I’ve only used the store and bakery portion, not the grooming. The store itself is adorable, very brightly colored and festive feeling. The employees are (mostly) very cheery and helpful. The location is incredibly convenient and has a private parking lot. Woof Gang is a franchise-​based chain that has a decent amount of locations throughout Florida and a limited number of other states. If you want, you can create an account with the store. They track your purchases and, upon spending a certain amount, you get some sort of discount.
Regarding the employees specifically, I’ve had a couple cashiers give off a rather snooty vibe. However, I’ve decided that this is fairly standard for this area. I guess I just grew accustomed to more southern-​style hospitality during my years in Atlanta. Mostly they are very nice.
As far as the area, this location is super convenient and right in the super cute part of Thornton Park. It’s hard to find specialty pet shops that carry Orijen brand dog food and similar quality brands. I feel that having a store this close really makes the slightly high prices worth it.
Woof Gang also has it’s own private parking lot, and this makes it even more convenient. The parking lot has an entrance on two sides of building. The employees routinely park directly in the entrance closest to the front of the building. So don’t be surprised if you have to enter from the side.
The dog food is really why I come here. As I said, Orijen is fairly hard to find. They have a large selection of baked doggy goods that are all very cute. However, I don’t usually feed my dog that kind of stuff. Despite this, the large assortment of treats does allow for the creation of very charming gift bags. In addition to the baked snacks, they have some brand name packaged treats and snacks of superior quality. They also have some dried meat treats (ex: bully sticks, pig ears, etc.). If you feed raw, I believe they have a freezer section full of quality raw foods. In addition to Orijen, I believe they carry Arcana, Fromm’s, Natures Valley Instinct, and several other brands. They do not have a ton of stuff for sale, but what they do sell is quality. Finally, they have a selection of cute toys, collars, leashes, and various doggy accouterments. I think they also sell a few limited training items.
Overall, I really enjoy Woof Gang and I recommend that you bring your pup to check it out.

The staff is great EXCEPT FOR THE GROOMER WITH DREADS !!! Watched her being too rough with the wire brush on a Shitzu. The dog was screaming. I was soo sad the rest of the day, contacted corporate and owners.

Thank you so much Woof Gang Bakery Thornton Park for helping Lola celebrate her 6^th birthday in style! Besides her new bully horn, cookies, and stuffless toy she received; she also looks perfect in her party hat and new necklace while blowing out the candle on her yummy cake!

The staff here is great. They get to know every dog that comes. My pup loves their treats and we love that they trim up his nails.

Love having this store right around the corner! Their products may be a little more expensive than going to a larger chain store, but the quality is that much better. The toys last forever, which is great when you have a 9 month old puppy who shreds everything.
We also love (and genuinely appreciate) all the smiling faces as soon as we walk in. The customer service is far superior to any other pet store. Everyone is overly friendly and so helpful, especially Steven!
