Wah Lum North Orlando is a martial arts and fitness school serving the Orlando community. Wah Lum North Orlando teaches a variety of curriculum including Wah Lum Tam Tui Northern Praying Mantis Kung Fu, Yang-​style Tai Chi Chuan, Xtreme Fitness, and the Ultimate Body Challenge.

History

Established in 1999.

Our school on Forest City Road opened on March 1, 1999 and has been taking students ever since. We carry on the integrity of the Wah Lum Tam Tui Northern Praying Mantis Kung Fu system, which was developed nearly 400 years ago, on a foundation of Chinese Martial Arts that is over 4,500 years old. We are proud to have served the Orlando community for 13 years now, and we look forward to many more years to come.

Business Owner

Sifu George Kee has been practicing and teaching Wah Lum Tam Tui Northern Praying Mantis Kung Fu for nearly 30 years. His accomplishments include:

Trained since 1983 under Grandmaster Pui Chan, sixth generation successor of the Wah Lum System, thirty-​third generation successor of the Shaolin Temple, China.

Trained under Grand Master Zhang in China. 1994.

Chief instructor for 5 years at the Wah Lum Temple in Orlando, FL.

Member of the Wah Lum professional demo team.

Featured with Grandmaster Chan in «Secrets of the Warrior’s Power». Discovery Channel. 1998.

Martial Arts video reference for the movie Mulan.

Perrformed at Epcot, Splendid China, MGM Studios, Universal Studios and various other locations throughout the US, Jamaica, Bahamas and China.

Performed with the Shaolin Monks exhibition tour and with the Beijing Wushu Team. Orlando, FL.

Won numerous medals and awards including hand forms, weapon, and lion dance competitions.
