I visited perry eye 5 years ago, i was so satistied with there service i decided to return after going to deferent doctor’s offices and i am so completely satisfied that i have decided this is were i will be going from now on

Dr. Perry is very thorough and friendly. The office is beautiful and staff is friendly. Never had a bad experience. Wish they had less expensive frames though. Usually take my script to Wal-​Mart for glasses.

This is my second review of VHI. And is as good as the first!
I felt my exam was very thorough. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I picked out some reading glasses, Tiffany glasses… super cute! They had loads to choose from. My husband ended up getting a pair of sunglasses.
This is a new office for them and is simply beautiful!
I will continue to go back for my yearly check ups!

I have received the best news today! I didn’t need glasses! Dr. Perry
and his staff were so nice and attentive! This was my first eye exam
since I was little and Dr. Perry and his staff explained everything to me
and I was very comfortable with the exam.
The office is fantastic! It was an old bank and they turned it into a unique
and relaxing place. Music was good and they magazines were plentiful.
I had to wait about 5 minutes and feel that’s a bonus. Would recommend
highly!

I had not been to an eye doctor for over a year and a half before coming to Vision Health Institute. When my last remaining pair of old contact lenses ripped I knew I had waited too long to make the call. VHI was recommended to me by a friend and luckily could fit me in very quickly including the next day if it would have fit my schedule. I toughed it out in glasses until I could get in about a week later.
The office is immaculately clean. Stocked with the latest in eye wear trends and modern optometry equipment, too. I was on time and seen promptly for my afternoon appointment. Both the assistant and doctor were very friendly and helpful throughout the process. I really enjoyed my visit and felt as though the staff really cared. I walked out about an hour later with normal pupils and a trial pair of lenses. Happy to have found a quality optometrist office right in my neighborhood!

Great personal service! Vision care and eyeglasses for the entire family. No «2^nd pair free» like the other places but the attention to customers is well worth the added cost. The inside of the building is decorated like a fine hotel complete with crystal chandliers.

I have been going to VHI for years and will continue to be a patient. The staff members are friendly, professional and extremely helpful. I have been seen by both Dr. Perry’s and recommend both. They take their time, explain procedures and listen to concerns. Take my advice and build a relationship with this office, you won’t regret it.

Professional and Friendly Staff. The new location is much better than the last. Bigger and more modern. I love it! They make you feel comfortable and both the doctor and the staff make sure all of your questions are answered before you leave.

Dr. Mark Perry was very friendly and took interest in me as a patient. He was very thorough in answering my questions and concerns. The office staff was very helpful in choosing a pair of frames that I like.

I started going to VHI right before they moved to the new office, I actually had to reschedule my first appointment because they were moving that week. I’m not sure what their former location looked like, but this location is super nice… almost TOO nice.
It’s very clean and bright, but also sort of cold. Not temperature-​wise, but comfort wise. There are a few fancy high-​back chairs in the front that aren’t very comfy, and then a sort of lounge/​bar area over to the left that also didn’t scream patient waiting area. I was a bit confused as to where to wait at first and was never very comfortable.
Luckily the wait time has never been long for the times I’ve been there. All of the staff are nice and friendly and very well-​versed in my insurance benefits and needs. The assistants who have done my initial exam tests at the machines are wonderful and I’m exceptionally pleased that they got rid of that god-​awful air puff test for eye pressures and replaced it with several less irritating and invasive options.
Dr. Mark Perry is very nice, great personality, and great sense of humor. I’ve been seeing optomotrists since I was 6 years old and no one had ever explained my higher risk of retinal detachment, nor told me the signs to watch for and what to do. He also made sure to address my concerns about diabetic eye health and my family history of glaucoma. My old optomotrist was pushy about selling me on other treatments like lasik, contact lenses, etc. even after I told him multiple times that I’m fine with glasses — Dr. Perry simply asks if my glasses are still meeting my needs and when I say «yes» he leaves it at that.
About the only major complaints I have are that the lobby isn’t as comfortable as most doctors waiting rooms are. At least some nicer chairs and a TV would help. Also the lighting is super bright, which is great for picking out new frames, but horrible when you walk out of the exam room after having your eyes dilated and you try to complete the checkout process with all light looking like the sun. And finally, my last complaint would be that their frame selection seems to lean more toward designer, high-​end brand frames like Gucci and Ralph Lauren (didn’t know they made glasses). I’m a simple girl, I just want a plain frame that’s sturdy and relatively inexpensive. I have to get the polycarbon lenses because my prescription is so high, so I’m already spending a ton extra there, I don’t need $ 300 frames.
All in all, friendly, professional staff, very well versed, concerned doctors — just a bit high-​end when it comes to office feel and frame selection.

I have nothing but GREAT things to say about Perry Eye Care (now Vision Health Institute). From the moment I walked in, they made me feel happy and comfortable to be there. The staff is so friendly and very helpful; and I have seen both the Perry’s and recently saw Dr. Ellison for the first time and they all are laid back, very knowledgeable, and actually make seeing the eye doctor a FUN thing to do! The selection of ladies’ glasses is excellent as well. I am a Business Development Rep so I really need nice glasses and there is such a great range of options here.

Excellent facility and equipment, friendly staff, and nice selection of frames. I was particularly impressed with how thorough and enthusiastic my doctor was in explaining every detail of the examination process.
