Universal Studios

Qué lindo que es este parque, el equilibrio perfecto entre magia Hollywood y atracciones extremas.
No tiene una gran cantidad de atracciones, pero están todas buenas. Podés recorrer el parque tranquilo en un día. Si sos amante del cine, en especial de los clásicos, vas a recorrer este parque con una sonrisa. Terminator, transformers, la momia, Men In Black son algunas del as películas por las que vas a pasar. Y si te gusta el cine de animación vas a encontrar las más populares, como Shrek y Despicable Me. Y yendo de una atracción a otra vas a pasear por las calles de New York, San Francisco y Hollywood; de verdad te sentís en una peli. Y si te gustan los musicales, también hay, aguante el de Beetlejuice.
Cuenta con un par de montañas rusas y juegos bastante extremos. Me gustó mucho la Rock It Roller Coaster; además de ser pura adrenalina podés elegir el tema musical que querés escuchar durante el viaje. Eso si, el seguro de la montaña rusa no está pensada para gente angosta y medio que saltaba en el asiento; al final de la atracción tenés un video (que podés comprar) y parecía que estaba viajando en una licuadora de los saltos que pegaba.
TIP: si no te interesa ir en el mismo carrito que tu acompañante, la cola de «single rider» avanza mucho más rápido. Además estos parques no son como los de Disney que tienen el sistema de fast pass para entrar sin cola (en realidad sí tiene, pero te lo cobran) y podés estar mucho tiempo esperando.
Una parte muy grande del parque es la de los Simpsons, con todas las atracciones locales de Springfield. Podés comerte una Krusty Burger o tomarte una Duff. Muy cerca de ésta hay un sector pensado para los más pequeños, con atracciones aptas para todo público de Curios George, el pájaro loco, Bob Esponja y E.T.
Un parque genial, perfecto para los amantes del cine. No tiene el caudal de gente que tiene Island of Adventures, así que se recorrer tranquilo y felíz. Y no se olviden de saludar al Doc que anda dando vueltas por el parque.

Fui al parque de Universal Studios en Orlando en mi viaje a Estados Unidos cuando tenía 17 años. Fuimos a Orlando y a todos los parques que había en ese momento, así que obviamente fuimos acá.
Es hermoso, ideal tanto para chicos como para grandes, con atracciones relacionadas con las peliculas y personajes de Universal o que tengan sus derechos.
Tienen tiendas para que te lleves recuerdos de tu paso por el parque.
Yo fui a todos los juegos, peleando con mis padres que estaban cansados, pero yo quería ir a todo y lo logre y es muy recomendable hacerlo porque no sabes si alguna vez vas a volver y hay que disfrutar. Además en general están muy buenas.
En cuanto a la comida, por primera vez en uno de estos parques descubrí que había pochoclo salado, en Argentina no había en ese momento, y no nos gusto.
De todas formas hay varias opciones para comer algo en el parque.

So, I’ve been to Universal more times than I can count and there are things I really like about it, but a few things that I do not. I will preface this by saying that I do have a certain bias towards that other theme park down the road, and so my first instinct is always to compare them.
I like the rides at Universal. Rip, Ride it, Rock it is an awesome coaster and I love that you can choose the soundtrack to your ride. The Mummy is one of my favorite rides of all time, anywhere. It’s an indoor roller coaster with great stomach churning drops, and cool special effects. I was mad when they took out King Kong, but I love the Mummy so much I really don’t care anymore. Men in Black is a better and more grown up version of Buzz Lightyear. Diagon Alley is super cool, very true to the films and the Gringotts ride is pretty neat. That being said, this is not the park to bring little ones to. If you have kids under 40 inches there isn’t much for them to do. Universal and it’s sister park IOA are designed for teenagers and adults, not small children.
With regards to the food I really like the pizza and pasta place. I think it is quite good for counter service theme park food. I am in love with the earl grey and lavender ice cream at the ice cream shop in Diagon Alley. However, there aren’t so many nice sit down restaurants in the park like there are at the Disney theme parks. Also, the abundance of alcohol can be a problem at Universal. On a normal day it isn’t a big deal, but at Mardi Gras and Halloween Horror Nights there are lots of drunks. On several occasions I’ve had crazy drunk people jump out and grab me in the scare zones. Not cool.
Universal also has some pretty cool concerts at Mardi Gras, but Disney does great concerts at Food and Wine Festival and you actually get to sit down for those instead of standing the whole time.
Mardi Gras and Halloweeen Horror Nights are both popular events, but I’m to the point where I don’t really want to go to either anymore because Universal really oversells them both. What I mean is they are both so crowded that it is not even remotely fun. I’ve been to Halloween Horror Nights a few time and I’ve never done more than 3 haunted houses because I had to wait about 90 minutes for each one. Also, some of the suspense is ruined because you listen to it for 90 minutes and the way the lines wrap around you can see in them sometimes. The other day we were at Mardi Gras and the line for Rip, Ride it Rock it was 2 hours and the single rider was an hour. I wouldn’t attempt either of those ever again without an express pass or VIP tour. You will not get your money’s worth out of your ticket otherwise.
Univeral has express pass which is front of the line access to all the rides. This is awesome and a good reason to stay at one of their deluxe resorts as you get a free express pass. The downside is that express pass costs lots of mullah otherwise. Disney’s fastpass service is free, but you have to book them way in advance and you only get 3, so let’s call this one a draw.
Finally, the parking garage is nice because it keeps your car in the shade during the warmer 10 months of the year, but it is a heck of a hike to the park from the garage.
So, should you go, yes, definitely, but keep in mind that HHN and Mardi Gras are not family friendly or child appropriate and if you have small children there will be limited options for them.

I’m a HUGE Harry Potter fan. I’m talking had a themed birthday party, made my friends help me hand paint wands, had a sorting ceremony, HP themed drinks, etc… I was 23. Coming here and getting to experience the Potter World in real life was one of the most amazing things I’ve ever done. I’d recommend going in mid-​November — the lines were super, super short. We bought the fast-​pass and didn’t really even need it. I can’t wait to come back again and again. Simpsons land is pretty sweet too — we ate at the Krusty Burger, had a beer at Moes, the whole shebang. Big fan!

There is so much to see and do in the Orlando area. People have to pick and choose what theme park to visit and where to go. First we did Disney World and their parks. Now it was time to do the Universal thing and I wasn’t as thrilled with the idea of Universal as my husband. He’s been a big fan of Harry Potter and that’s where he wanted to go.
I was really surprised with Universal Studios. I actually loved it. I liked it much better than the Disney Hollywood Studios. Universal has two parks and the are very different. We did enjoy Islands of Adventure more than the studio side except for the Harry Potter World.
Harry Potter isn’t the only themed attraction here. There were many we were surprised to see and to enjoy. It’s a lot to take in so at least plan on visiting two days.

There is sooo much to see! Actually like Universal Studios MUCH better than the Magic Kingdom. However, this is one of the most expensive parks in the area.

I wouldn’t give any of the parks in universal five stars. Is one of those places that looks really nice, you have a good time. However, there’s always a little something missing.
Universal is limited by its space. Most of the rides are the 3d motion rides. Probably because they take up less space. At some point if the story isn’t that interesting, being tossed around in the 3d car gets nauseating.
I liked the MIB ride, but there was no need to spin me around. The Harry Potter street and town was awesome to look at. Almost on par with Disney. However the rides (Except for the train) were really lame.
IF there are no lines you can cover the park in one day.
It was fun and entertaining. Just not on par with Disney, and can be covered quickly.

I love Universal and Islands of Adventure, and get this… I can’t ride hardly any of the rides. I get motion sick extremely easily and can barely handle anything they have to offer that is in motion. I did do Men in Black, and sure enough, when those cars started spinning, I had to close my eyes and take slow, deep breaths and leave my eyes closed for the rest of the ride. My husband had a blast, shooting at aliens. The 3D stuff makes me dizzy and nauseated, and no way no how can I get on roller coasters. I’ve been like that since I was a kid. But I do enjoy the theme park atmosphere immensely, and my husband took full advantage of the rides.
I was really disappointed that The Hulk coaster has been closed and dismantled for renovations. One of my favorite things used to be to stand under that initial drop and watch all the change, phones, and hats fall off of people as they went upside down on the loop.
When I used to live here I had a season pass, so I couldn’t remember the costs involved. We paid $ 20 to park and then an obscene amount of money, more than my car payment, for a two-​park all day one-​day pass with the express option. But it was a great time all around. We were there on a weekday which cut down on the amount of people to navigate. On a side note, someday I’m going to rent a stroller just so I can be like those soccer moms who run over people with theirs. I bet they drive their Escalade or minivan just like that too. #annoying #ohofcourseYOUhavetherightofway #ifyoudon’tlookmeintheeyewhileyourunmeoverthatmake­sitalright
They have done a fabulous job with the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. We enjoyed every aspect of that and had a surprisingly affordable and tasty lunch on the Islands of Adventure side. The area with all the Simpsons stuff is really funny and of course we bellied up to the bar and ordered some cold Duff’s for about 10 bucks apiece. It was nice to sit and relax by the water and enjoy a cold beer. The whole idea of Krustyland made me laugh and we got a kick out of that whole area.
It’s too bad the Jurassic Park area is geared mainly toward kids only. That ride that looks like a swing that goes over the top of the «jungle» looks pretty cool, but kids only. I mean I couldn’t ride it, but I would think adults would like that one too.
Next time we go we’ll stay on property and take advantage of some discounts. It was really fun to go back and see how things have changed. I always enjoy these 2 parks.

Having visited Florida twice in my life I instantly regretted not visiting Universal on my first vacation. So, when it was time for my second trip, it was at the top of my list!
Rightfully so, it’s an amazing place! Some of the rides and attractions here are the best around. The Shrek 4D attraction is so much fun and the Rip Ride Rocket Rollercoaster gives a whole new name to ‘white knuckle rides’! The video of my first time on this ride was epic! Haha.
If you’re a fan of universal films, this place is not to be missed. The MIB alien shooter ride is a great laugh too (even though it broke down whilst we were on it!)

If I had to pick between the two parks, I’d definitely go here. It has a lot of the must-​see rides and attractions! If you’re really into Harry Potter, even Diagon Alley is the better place to visit over Hogsmeade. I bought a 2 park pass just to be able to check out Hogsmeade and I still probably spent 80% of the time on the Universal Studios side. While here, you’ll need to visit the Simpsons in Springfield where pretty much every well known landmark from the cartoon is here. Most people will make their way directly to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter: Diagon Alley because that’s where the action is at! If you get here when the park opens, I would highly suggest that you check out that area first!

The 1^st of the 2 parks at Universal Orlando, and probably the one to pick if you’re only going for a day (really tough decision).
First Off: A lot of the bad reviews I see on here are pretty exaggerated. Take them with a grain of salt. It seems to be the type of people who let 1 small thing ruin their entire day. How you can come here and not have an amazing time is beyond me. Also, I saw some guy complaining about 30 minute lines while he was there on one of the busiest days of the year (Harry Potter Celebration)… If you’re gonna complain about a 30 minute wait during a known busy time, then do not come here, or any amusement park. You’re going have to wait in some lines. But at the end of the day it’s going to be the last thing on your mind (unless you’re «that guy»).
Do you research ahead of time! Learn the park layout, study the map, come up with a plan. There are multiple daily plans you can find online for free, with different plans of attack. I used the one from Orlando Informer and further edited it, taking out rides I knew I wouldn’t want to go on. Having a plan makes a big difference, and will relieve the stress of walking in there blind not knowing anything.
The free lockers at rides are amazing! Easy and fast to use, and you can cram a decent sized bag in there. REMEMBER YOUR LOCKER NUMBER! It will make everything easier. Also, use your knuckles on the touch screen; it works better than your fingertip.
Even if you’re not a fan, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is amazing. There’s so much to do there. You will need a park-​to-​park ticket to get the full experience; HP World spans both parks. Try the Butterbeer (not alcoholic)!!!

Horrible experience after a long day at the park and the purchase of two express lane enabled yearly passes we arrive at our car to find it significantly damaged with Universal unwilling to help.
Beyond that the wait times even with the fast pass was out of control. A 40 min wait for the train ride between parks, a 1hr30min wait for a sub average Irish lunch, a 30 min wait for the Spider-​Man ride was not too bad. Between the unreasonably high prices, extremely slow service, and unhelpful staff I would not recommend Universal.
The highlight would be the street performers on the construction site but I can get that for free riding the subway in most major cities.

I haven’t been here in 9 – 10 years and it definitely had a huge renovation.
I stayed on site so that way you got to go in an hour earlier than everyone else. However, you walked SO far to get to Diagon Alley, which was annoying. By the time you walked over, the park was opening to the whole public anyways.
Harry Potter World = awesome.
Simpsons = awesome.
Everything else? Meh.
I was upset to see the Hulk roller coaster ride was closed and in renovations. Ugh! That was another main reason to be here!
The food at some of the restaurants were meh. While others were pretty good.
The check in and security process was quite painless.
The staff was pretty friendly. Some were amazing while others that operated the rides seemed bored of their lives.
Free lockers for more of the crazy rides (though annoying because you want pictures of some of the amazing décor during the waiting line).
A little pricey at min. $ 100 a person a day.
And especially since all the rides begin to feel pretty darn similar. Simpsons is the old Back to the Future ride. Transformers and Spiderman were the same just different screens in front of you.
All the rides have the same theme: spritz water, smoke, and fire into your face.
The most unique was the Dueling Dragons and the Forbidden Journey (which was my favorite as a HP fan).
Also, you’re done with both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure in 1.5 days if there are no lines. We had 2 days tix and we were pretty bored by the second day having done it all so we just left early. Which felt like we lost money. Oh wells.
I’d definitely return if they keep adding to the HP World or make other themed «worlds» for you to enter.

We should have combined the Universal Studios Park and Islands of Adventure into a one day event with a park to park pass. That way we could have taken the Hogwarts Express and would have been able to have a break day in the middle of our four days straight of theme parks.
If you want to do only the unique rides that you won’t see at any other theme park, you can easily do all of the best rides in one day. The only thing that really makes Universal Studios worthwhile though is Harry Potter World. If you’re not a Harry Potter fan, you may not want to spend the $$$ for a ticket. But if you are a Harry Potter fan, you will love it!
TIP: Get the Universal Studios app. It shows you accurate waiting times for everything.
The Universal Studios lockers were a nightmare for us, because it was so crowded where they kept the lockers. You would think they would have spread the lockers out a little more. TIP: Remember which finger you used to close the locker. You will need it again to open the locker.

A nice theme park, all in all. I am not a huge movie goer, nor do I really like roller coasters (deathly afraid, actually) but I did have a good time with family and friends when I went.
We rode a few rides and I did some gift shopping while they rode the more intense rides, and we had a blast just being together. Harry Potter world was excellent. I’m not an avid fan but they really made diagon alley quite the experience. There’s a bunch of shops that any fan would recognize from the books and movies. The area played the Harry Potter soundtrack, which really made me nostalgic. A must-​do is getting a cup of butterbeer and at least browsing the shops, most of all ollivanders wand shop and madam malkins robe shop. Very cool stuff in both of those places.
Tickets for the park were $ 108 at the kiosk for one day one park. We didn’t want to do park hopper or multi day pass this time, but it would’ve been a better deal that way. The tickets online were $ 102 I believe, and there’s no Florida discount except for annual passes. That bothered me a bit. Overall a nice trip. Plenty to do even for a non-​thrill seeker like me :)

I liked this park so much better than Islands of Adventure. It opened earlier and closed later and had more rides. One thing I did not like about both Universal Studios theme parks was how most restaurants/​shops opened at 11am. What are visitors supposed to do when they’re starving super early in the morning? I mean I guess there was one shop that was open that served a ham croissant sandwich and coffee, but even that was just okay. cmon, where is the variety? Starbucks and Cinnabon are both open at Universal Citywalk right outside the theme park entrances if you need your caffeine fix or some pastries.
The park opens early for Early Park Admission. We spent a good hour just browsing the Universal Store until the park opened for everyone. There was a huge mob waiting at the blockade that led you to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter (Diagon Alley). Once they started letting people in, it was crazy… people were running for their lives. I’m not even kidding. We just walked in a fast pace since the floor was wet from the rain early that morning. Most of the rides did not allow you to carry any bags, so they have lockers available for you. They’re free for the first 35 – 60 minutes and the time always changes depending on how long the wait is. After you exceed the time, which we did once, you pay $ 3 for every thirty minutes.
So, let’s talk about the rides we rode. Most of the rides at Universal are stimulation rides. Of course the first one we rode was Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringott’s. It was SO cool. We actually got to ride it two times, one in the early morning and late in the evening when the waits were short. It was just like the movies the whole way through. Waiting in line wasn’t even that bad because you always had something to look at. Everything was so realistic!
We rode the Revenge of the Mummy afterwards. Fast speed roller coaster in the dark. I don’t think they have the beetles that tickle your feet anymore… that was always the worst part for me! We rode Men In Black: Alien Attack, kinda similar to the Buzz Lightyear shooting ride. We rode the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit, which looked pretty terrifying at first, but it wasn’t all that bad. The beginning of the ride was vertical… I think I would’ve rather dropped down vertically, jeezus. The anticipation to reach the top was the worst part, but I love roller coasters! The roller coaster allowed you to choose what kinda song you wanted to listen to throughout the whole ride. I chose to listen to ‘Stronger’ by Kanye West, haha.
We only watched two shows, which were Animal Actor’s on Location and Fear Factor. I’ve always loved Fear Factor ever since I was young, so it was a cool experience. Watching people eat smoothies made of bugs and mystery meat made me feel sick for them! And they did it willingly, not even for money, but for a souvenir cup!!! I would never. The Animal Actor’s show was super cute, animals doing cute tricks. They even had the pug from Men in Black!
We unfortunately didn’t have the time to ride all the other rides because the waits were ridiculously long. Maybe we’ll make a stop at Universal Studios in LA when their Harry Potter World opens up and ride the Minion ride we missed out on. It also sucks how you have to pay for their ‘fast passes’…that’s why the fast pass lines are never long. Everyone would rather push through the 40 minute (can get up to 90) waits.
We spent most of our time at Diagon Alley. It was pretty magical. You unfortunately cannot ride the Hogwarts Express unless you have a park hopper, which I think was an extra $ 50 – 60. Get your butter beer here because it’s more expensive at Hogsmeade for some reason. They have a lot more shops compared to the one at Hogsmeade. Take pictures in the robes and put on the scarves for each of the houses, depending on which your favorite is, and pretend to be a wizard, lol. Better than spending $ 100 on the robe… yikes. They’ve got chocolate frogs in the stores, jelly slugs, all sorts of unique Harry Potter souvenirs you really can’t find anywhere else!
Overall a magical experience at Universal Studios! :)

We visited Universal and bought a 3 day pass that allowed us to park hop. We probably only needed 2 days as we didn’t go on many rides and also the parks were not too busy. The busiest ride seemed to be the Despicable me ride with wait times up to 110 minutes while we were there.
Springfield was my favourite because you can go into the Kwik-​E-​Mart to buy gifts and souvenirs; note this is not set out as the ‘real’ Kwik-​E-​Mart. I enjoyed ordering lunch from Krusty Burger and eating it in Moe’s Tavern, where you can buy Duff and see Barney! Oh and buy a big pink if you are hungry, it’s the donut Lard boy holds and is delicious.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was amazing. We’ve been to the Universal in Japan which is much the same as Hogsmead here. However, the Hogswart Express was MAGICAL (haha!) and lots of fun. Young and old were so excited lining up. Diagon Alley was really cool and not in Japan so that was extra fun for us.
In my opinion, the best thing about The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is the interactive wands they can be purchased. They are not cheap at about $ 50 each but you can choose any characters wand and walk around the park casting spells. If you do it correctly, you can see the magic unfold! (If you go to Ollivanders, you may be chosen and given a free wand)
The Macy’s parade was on when we visited. It was gorgeous. The blimps were huge and the show was very colourful. Santa even lit up the lights on the Christmas tree when he passed it.
There are lots of characters to take photos with like in most theme parks. The lines were longish and the staff would tell you if characters had to leave and told you when they’d be back. Most people seemed happy to wait for characters to come back.
Lots of see, lots to do, lots of fun!

We had so much fun at this park! Express pass is a good idea due to large crowds, however, the process can and should be improved by staff. For instance, the regular wait time is 130+ for normal riders but still 30 – 40 for express pass. They also shut down the express pass line because it was full? We didn’t understand that, especially when you’re paying $ 120 per person for this pass. Can’t use express pass on Harry Potter rides either and those have the longest wait times. That was upsetting. Otherwise, it was good for any of the other rides.
Harry Potter section hit capacity at noon so they made everyone wait on some ridiculously long line going around the outskirts of the park and get a return time card. It was only 40 minutes later so we decided to eat to kill time. Once in, it was a zoo! We were shoulder to shoulder with people so if you get crowd anxiety stay away. We had fun though. Got some butter beer to cool down. The butter beer ice cream in a waffle cone is delicious!
We rode almost every ride with the exception of the water ones (just didn’t feel like getting wet), Despicable Me (express pass line too long), and Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey (no express pass and wait 130+).
The Dr Seuss section is so incredibly adorable for little ones and was decorated for Grinchmas. I loved this area!
The roller coasters all kick butt (The Mummy, Red and Blue Dragon Challenges, Rock and Roll coaster) and the 3d and 4d (Shrek) rides were fun (Transformers, Spider-​Man and Escape from Gringotts). Men in Black and Simpsons were kind of lame.
What a great park. Definitely worth the $ 638. We had more fun here than in any of the Disney operated parks. Finding our car was easy and getting out took no time at all.

Universal Studios is an awesome park filled with great rides and themes. Many of the themes are geared to adults just as much as children. I particularly liked being in Springfield home of the Simpsons and being able to stop off at Moe’s for a quick draft of Duff beer. But it’s much more than that kids line up down the street to get a photo of their superhero, my daughter loves Captain America. The truth is we all do and he is there along with Spider-​Man and many others.
Beyond the hero’s of course there is Harry Potter. Now I’m not big on the Potter books or movies but I have to say what universal did was truly amazing. It is a must see for everyone but if you are into Harry Potter your going to love universal!
Now my kids and I love roller coasters and my two girls Will go on rides that will make grown men cry and I mean like babies! Well, Universal has those exact rides! The roller coasters at universal are some of the largest craziest in the country and I caution you they are intense!
All around Universal is one of the best amusement parks and has some of the best rides and themes. If you are visiting Orlando I would suggest going to Universal.
I will also caution you, DO NOT visit the week between Christmas or New Years. Today the park is sold over capacity and they Close off attractions and areas like Harry Potter to people that paid for tickets. Going at that time period could be a total waist of your money!!!

Came here for the first time with some friends. Up until now, i have only been to the Universal Studios in Hollywood. I’ve been wanting to come since they’ve released news about Harry Potter World. My friend who had came here a year previous was well versed and know where to go and what to do.
She had instructed us to buy the 1-​day park to park admission because there are two parts to Harry Potter World. One of each park, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure Side. To go between each side, you need a park to park ticket so you’ll be able to ride on the Hogwart’s Express ride.
The GREAT part of universal is if the ride does NOT allow you to bring things on the ride (bags, cameras, etc), they provide lockers outside the ride, which are FREE OF CHARGE for a certain amount of time (usually more than the actual WAIT time of the ride). So the entire time i was at Universal, not a cent spent on lockers ! LOVE IT ! because i brought my DSLR with me and that thing aint small (D800E + Grip + 24 – 70 + blackrapid strap).
We had arrived just around when the park opens, entering Universal Studio’s side, and was able to receive our tickets by the self-​serve kiosks. Walking into the park and to the right, you are greeted with the first sight of Grimmauld Place and the Knight Bus, after that, King’s Cross and the «famous» wall to Diagon Alley.

As for the rest of universal, plenty of rides, lots of walking. Since i’ve been to the one in Hollywood, not too much interest. Went on the mummy ride which was nice. For the most part, most rides had a short wait time (we went in the beginning of November, so there goes most of the summer kids).
Since our main reason for coming to Universal this time was to check out Harry Potter World, we had little to no time to even consider the Islands of Adventure side, except to walk through it when we were leaving the park (Closed at 9pm)

Für den Eintritt in beide Parks haben wir 520 $ für 2 Erwachsene inkl. Fastpass gezahlt, da man sonst ewig anstellen musste. Dann noch 20 $ fürs parken. Der Preis für Essen und Getränke war auch sehr hoch. Der Krusty Burger war ganz ok aber kein Highlight!
Die Rides waren eigentlich eher fad — fast alles nur extrem laute 3D bzw 4D Rides. Am Besten war noch die Mumie, Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket und die Drachen von Harry Potter. Die Wasserrides waren lustig aber leider war man komplett nass danach.

For my 500^th review I wanted to talk about a place that really earns 5 stars from me.
Previously, I had 5 starred the Wizarding World of Harry Potter but that was when there was just Hogsmeade at Islands of Adventure. Recently, I got a chance to experience Diagon Alley in Universal Studios Florida and it blew my mind.
Highlights:
— Diagon Alley, Kings Cross Station, Knight Bus, Hollywood Rip Ride Coaster, Animal Show, Transformers the Ride, The Mummy Returns Ride, and the American Express lounge
Diagon Alley is really a masterpiece and the little nuances and homages scattered around the area are a true Harry Potter fan’s dream come to life. The Leaky Cauldron is a great place to get food and butterbeer and it has a ton of shops for all kinds of souvenirs. The Dragon perched atop Gringotts is a really cool feature though it stopped breathing fire midday because of weather concerns. Definitely something to keep in mind if you want that great photo.
Lowlights:
— The Simpsons Ride, Minion Mayhem, Escape from Gringotts (!)
I wasn’t a big fan of Minion Mayhem. The pre-​ride show is wayyy too long and the ride itself is clunky. Ditto for the Simpsons ride.
Escape from Gringotts was so hyped up but never reached that point where it felt like it was something new and better. HP and the Forbidden Journey is a better ride IMO. Escape from Gringotts is way too short and doesn’t introduce any new ride elements. It certainly isn’t as thrilling as HP and the FJ either.
We had no trouble riding everything on Monday, October 26. The crowds were very manageable and the longest we had to wait was 45 – 1 hr. Gringotts never got past a 1 hr wait. In fact, we were able to ride some things twice and still have time for most everything at IOA too!
One thing I highly recommend is staying on-​site at a resort. We did the Cabana Bay resort and it was fantastic. You get early park admission so that meant arriving at 7am at the gates of Universal Florida. I realized had we gotten there earlier, they were letting people in! Don’t know when the true entrance time is but get there early! It is a unique experience being in the park when it is still dark outside and then basically having Diagon Alley all to yourself.
Overall, if I had to compare the two parks, I think IOA is more of a thrill and the better of the two especially when the Incredible Hulk is operational. Once Kong: Skull Island opens in Summer 2016, IOA will certainly be favored. However, Universal Florida has a lot of charm. It has the feel of a movie lot with a lot of different genres represented. If it weren’t for Diagon Alley though I would be hard pressed to say the two-​park ticket would be worth it but these days you almost have to go with the two parks. Until Disney can get Star Wars and Avatar up and running, USF and IOA are the bee’s knees!

I think this may be my favorite theme park ever.
I spent 3 days here in the Summer (and finally getting around to a review). What could be better than attractions based on movies and TV shows?
Like any theme park there are different themed areas of the park with their own attractions: New York, San Francisco, Diagon Alley (Harry Potter), Simpsons Land, Hollywood — just to name a few.
Attractions include Escape from Gringott’s, The Mummy ride, a Minions in 3D attraction, Shrek, Men in Black, and so much more. There’s currently a Twister attraction where you can experience the effects of a twister first hand but I’ve heard that attraction is closing soon. Too bad.
There’s also amazing entertainment including the Blues Brothers, a Stomp-​like street show and various entertainment throughout the streets and also in Diagon Alley.
The staff here is wonderful. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. I appreciate that their employees are not just kids. I wish the park near me would realize they can get adults to help out as well.
This is definitely worth several return trips. I actually enjoyed this park better than Islands of Adventure.

Machen sollte man: die Mumie, minions, und man in Black. Simpsons ist auch ganz witzig.
Aber im ganzen ist es wirklich sehr teuer! Man bezahlt viel und bekommt echt wenig! Keine Extras — Nada! Vielleicht waren meine Erwartungen einfach zu hoch! Jeder Stand und jedes Spiel kostet wirklich viel (kleine Spiele ab 5 $!)
Das Essen (Richards Burger) war schlecht, das Brot trocken und echt kein Highlight.
Da schmeckt MC Donald besser!
Das macht so keinen Spaß… Leider!
Parkplatz Gebühren sind auch bei bis zu 25 $ — in diesem Park möchte man wirklich nur Kohle verdienen.
Eine Sache war for free: wifi! Applaus hierfür!

Parque muy recomendable para niños y adultos.
Hay una gran variedad de atracciones tanto antiguas como modernas, muchas en 4d y también bastantes montañas rusas.
Precio bastante desorbitado y muchas colas, ya puestos a pagar os recomiendo el pase express os evitará hacer colas de hasta 120 minutos en algunas atracciones.
Los precios de la comida tampoco son muy baratos.

Si vais sacar el pase para entrar a los dos parques (están unidos) y merecen la pena.

Excelente lugar para ir a pasarlo genial. Es un lugar en el que no te alcanzan los ojos para ver, todo muy detallado, los juegos son únicos y las tiendas también. El castillo de Harry Potter es algo increíble y las tiendas de la ciudad sobre la película es demasiado igual a la película. Recomiendo probar todos los juegos y uno de los mejores y extremos es la montaña verde del parque Isla y luego entrar y ver todas nas cosas que están por demás de detalladas.

Bei diesem Park hätte sich stundenlanges Anstehen nur selten gelohnt. Der Simpson Ride, der 4D Shrekfilm und der Mummyride waren nett, obwohl der letztere nur gefühlte 45 Sekunden war. Fear Factor ist eine Art «Dschungelcamp», wo sich am Ende ein Zuschauer durchsetzt, eher semi-​empfehlenswert. Die Tiershow war allerdings super, wo sowohl Vögel, Hunde, Waschbären und Schweine ihr Können zeigen. Zum Glück waren wir an dem Tag sehr früh dran und mussten nur selten anstehen. Was ich allerdings enttäuschend fand, der Park wirbt mit «behind the scenes/​beyond the screen», die Show mit den MakeUpeffekten hatte zwar eine interessante Ausstellung, aber die Show an sich war nur auf Comedy getrimmt. Was war denn das für eine Men in Black Fahrt? Man sitzt in Wagen, fährt langsam durch eine Landschaft, hat eine Knarre dabei und schießt auf Zielscheiben… naja, bei ET das Ähnliche, außer das eine Computerstimme versucht deinen Namen auszusprechen. Die Musikshow war so unprofessionell und schlecht gesungen, dass ich kurz davor war wieder aufzustehen. Twister hatte einen interessanten Ansatz, aber man geht aus der Attrakion raus und denkt enttäuscht «das war alles?». Wenn man etwas über Filmherstellung erfahren möchte, würde ich diesen Park auf jeden Fall meiden, da erfährt man mehr bei Bonusprogramme auf diversen DVDs angucken. Wie überall in den USA wird auch hier die Klimaanlage auf gefühlte 15 Grad gestellt, also lieber né Jacke und Tuch auch bei sommerlichen Temperaturen mitnehmen, da man sonst sicherlich eine Erkältung als Andenken bekommt. Der Park ist nur auf Englischsprachige ausgerichtet. Für den Preis braucht man einfach viel Humor, wir haben auf jeden Fall das Beste draus gemacht.

Der Park ist sicherlich nicht schlecht, aber in an betracht des nicht gerade günstigen Eintrittspreises, ist er sicherlich kein Angebot. Wenn man aber alle Attraktionen nutzt, kommt man wohl doch auf seine Kosten.

Wow, der Universal-​Park ist wirklich bombastisch! Hier kann man gut und gerne mehrere Tage verbringen und viele der irren Amerikaner tun dies wohl auch, indem sie sich hier eine Woche in ein Hotel einmieten und ihren Jahresurlaub dann damit verbringen, die ganzen Parks abzuklappern und die meiste Zeit des Tages und somit Urlaubes in der prallen Sonne in Warteschlangen zu verbringen!
Das Warten hat den Universal-​Park in meiner Bewertung dann auch den letzten Stern gekostet, denn das ist echt nervig und verschwendet kostbare und kostenpflichtige Zeit!
Die Attraktionen und Fahrgeschäfte rund um’s Filmbusiness sind denn auch zahlreich mit Special Effects bestückt, sodaß man fast aus jedem Event mit strahlenden Augen und einem «Wow» rausgeht.

Ja ja die Universal Studios. Ich war schon in Los Angeles, allerdings schon einmal paar Jahre her. Hier in Orlando ist es noch größer und gigantischer. Der Preis haut einen um. Da muss man schon viel fahren bis man denn Preis wieder heraus hat. Man sollte bei Harry Potter anfangen. Das Schloß ist gigantisch. Wir müssten nur 90 Minuten anstehen. Anschließend gingen wir zu jurassic Parc. Auch gigantisch. Ab 15.00 h gingen wir in den anderen Park, also in die Universalität studios. Hier nackten wir viele Attraktionen nach einander. Zum Glück hatten wir bis 22.00 h Zeit. Zum Schluss machten wir Shrek und Transformer, die beide total gigantisch sind. Es lohnt sich in den Park zu gehen und das viele Geld auszugeben. Man gönnt sich ja sonst nichts 4 Sterne, ein Abzug wegen der Preise

Eigentlich fanden wir Island of Adventure und Universal Studios u. Halloween Horror Nights total klasse!
Wir lieben Filme (Sehr schade, dass es Jaws nicht mehr gibt) daher gibt es für die Attraktionen ein glattes AUSGEZEICHNET.
Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, MIB, die Mumie. wow!
Halloween Horror Nights mit den Horror Häusern war nur genial. Was für eine Atmosphäre (Achtung UNBEDINGT in Front of Line Pässe investieren!!! Spart nicht am falschen Ende)
Was uns nicht so gut gefallen die Lockers (die Schliessfächer, die man nehmen muss, damit nix umherfliegt, nass wird oder ähnliches)
Bei Jurassic Park haben die uns 4 Dollar berechnet für eine halbe Stunde. Bei den anderen Attraktionen war wenigstens né halbe Stunde kostenfrei, danach war man aber auch mit 4 Dollar pro halbe Stunde dabei.
Wobei das von Saison und Uhrzeit offensichtlich abhängt.
Das grenzte schon sehr an Abzocke und hinterließ einen recht faden Nachgeschmack.

Ein teils etwas in die Jahre gekommener Themenpark welcher zu den Universal Studios in Orlando gehört. Der Park bietet einen Rollercoaster R.I.P. Hollywood Rock It. Ansonsten imax Coaster oder Shows für den Besuch sollte man maximal ½ Tag einplanen. Warte Zeiten sind recht annehmbar mit maximal 45 min.
Der Coaster hat meist eine Wartezeit von über 120 min.

schöner Park mit vielen Atraktionen. Den muss man erlebt haben. Sehr sauber und freundliche Mitarbeiter.

Die Studios sind mittlerweile in die Jahre gekommen und Universal tut derzeit viel um auf der begrenzten Fläche die Sie zur Verfügung haben neue Atraktionen als Publikumsmagnet zu etablieren. Ursprünglich richtetete sich der Park an Filmverrückte, doch mittlerweile ist er ein absoluter Freizeitpark mit eingebetteter Filmgeschichte geworden. Wenn man Ihn in Ruhe erkunden möchte sollte man einen ganzen Tag einplanen und auch hier gilt, bei der Kalkuation nicht Parkgebühren und Essen und Getränke vergessen.
Gerade was Getränke betrifft hat Universal, genauso wie Seaworld oder Island of Adventure sehr viel dazugelernt und bietet s.g. Flatrates an. Diese sollte man unbedingt nutzen.
Tipp:
In manchen Ecken lohnt es sich auch mal abseits der Massen zu schauen, denn man entdeckt immer wieder kleine Geschichten, die den Fans der Fahrgeschäfte verborgen bleiben.
Auch hier sollte man genau überlegen, ob nicht ein Flex-​Ticket die bessere Wahl ist. Das ist aber jedem selbst überlassen. Nur seid mit den Ticket-​Verkäufern auf der Hut.

Der Klassiker der weiße Hai ist nach so länger zeit immer noch ein Menschenmagnet!
Mind. Ein ganzen Tag einplanen!

Absolut zu 100% Amerika. Hammer sind die 3D Kinos. Die Weiße Hai Bootsfahrt. Sehr zu empfehlen, wenn ihr Kinder habt. Sie werden unendlich glücklich sein!!!

Rien à voir avec les parcs d’attractions Français … ici, c’est le spectacle à l’américaine !
Des manèges aux effets spéciaux impressionnants, des shows spéctaculaires qui vont plongeront au travers des block Busters américains… ajouter à cela le soleil de la Floride, vous y passerez à coup sûr une très bonne journée !

Hier macht es schon mehr Spaß! Filmkulissen und Vorführungen ohne Ende. Manchmal kann man denken man ist wirklich im Film. Trotz der vielen Holz und Pappbauten wird doch eine richtige Illusion erzeugt. Hier sollte man sich wirklich 2 Tage Zeit nehmen denn der Andrang bei den Attraktionen ist enorm. Gerade wenn man sich dort zur Weihnachtszeit aufhält wo alle Amerikaner Urlaub haben.

Auch die Universal Studios Orlando sind wie die Studios in Los Angeles einfach der Wahnsinn. Wer Adrenalin pur mag muss da auf jeden Fall hin. Der Ride of the Mummy haut einen um und macht süchtig. Auch die anderen Fahrattraktionen sind eine Wucht.
Einen oder zwei Tage in die Filmwelt abtauchen kann man hier ohne Zweifel bestens.
Es empfiehlt sich auch das mehrtägige Studio Hopping. Hier gibt es günstige Tickets um alle Parks in Universal City zu besuchen.
Ein absolutes muß.

Fand ich echt toll: Filmkulissen überall. Tolle Attraktionen und insgesamt schön gemacht.
Die Filme kann man hier tatsächlich nacherleben und die echt amerikanische Variante von Show kann man hier live sehen. Man ist im Film sozusagen. Live the movies!
Am tollsten fand ich die 3-​D Filme und den Weißen Hai.

Wer gerne Adrenalin spürt und Fun-​Parks mag, sollte diesen nicht verpassen. der einzige Nachteil ist, dass wenn man nach einem USA Trip wieder in heimatlichen Gefilden einen Park besucht, man doch sehr enttäuscht ist. denn hier ist es tatsächlich so, dass im Land der unbegrenzten Möglichkeiten nunmal Rollercoaster gebaut und erfunden werden
Ich freue mich schon auf meinen nächsten Besuch ;-)

Der Park ist ganz gut, allerdings habe ich gemerkt das es für Kinder doch ehr was ist. Die 4D shows in den Kinos sind klasse vorallem Shrek. Dann gibt es noch aus dem Film Twister einen nachahmung eines Tornados wo Kühe (keine echten g) fliegen. In Erdbeben wir einem ein Erdbeben Simuliert und dann fährt man mit einer U-​Bahn die ein Erdbeben der Stärke 8 erlebt. Der Weiße Hai ist wohl eines mit der bekanntesten Atraktionen und sehr schön. Allerdings muss man dort lange anstehen da viele mit dem Boot durch den Fischerort fahren wollen um den Weißen Hai zu sehen.
Was mir persönlich am besten gefallen hat war Back to the Future (zurück in die Zukunft). Man wird dort in einer interaktiven Tour durch Höhlen geflogen und trift Dinos etc
Mit Kindern ein muss!!!

Não deixe de ir ao 3D do Exterminador, de se arrepiar no brinquedo (simulação) do Tubarão, do Twister. Principalmente, não deixe de ir visitar o ET — é realmente emocionante! O mais legal é que, neste, quando você está entrando no brinquedo, perguntam e anotam seu nome. Ao final do passeio, o ET se despede de você! Muito lindo! Comprei um chaveirinho do ET que apertava a barriga e acendia a mão e o coração é uma boa dica de souvenir!
