Titanic the Experience

My daughters school had a field trip this week to the titanic experience. The whole day was wonderful! The artifacts are amazing. The actors that portray actual passengers was fun and informative! The food was DELICIOUS! We were served a garden salad with a delicious raspberry dressing, chicken breast with a cream sauce, steak in a wonderful brown sauce, roasted red potatoes and string beans, a roll and also a white chocolate mousse in a chocolate bowl! It was divine! This is definitely worth every penny and we will come back!

It was more than I had expected, after viewing the outside of the building I thought it would just be a small little museum. So, I was surprised to find how well the exhibits were put together and how interactive the experience was. I recommend it greatly.

What they have to offer is way beyond what you will get at a dinner theater.
When you get there for the dinner, you get a boarding pass like the real ship and interact with the actors who are other passengers and crew with the ship.
Throughout the evening you learn more and more about how the ship was built and the crew that was part of it.
The meal was quite good as well having it like a 4 course meal.
As you find out when the ship gets hit with the iceberg, it gets very emotional and feels like you were there during the tragedy.
At one point some of the participants started trying to make a situation funny when it was serious. The actors stopped what they were doing and made a professional point and went back to the scene.
If you are wanting to do the dinner portion, it is a perfect date night and a great way to experience a dinner and play at the same time.

We decided to wait for the tour and the guide was amazing! You aren’t allowed to take pictures inside which kinda sucked but was understandable due to how fragile the artifacts are.
We also stayed for the Captains dinner. It was really great! The food was good, nothing mind blowing but a previous review said it was similar to cafeteria food. I found it to be a little better than that. The characters stayed in their roles throughout the whole dinner which was really amazing. They even remember the specific details of the small talk we shared with them and brought it up later in the night. It was nice to see that they were really into it.
The tour and dinner were both a good time for us. We learned a lot, and seeing it played out made for a great date night!

We were expecting much more than we found. We have gone to other exhibitions and this one is not even close. The exhibits were hard to read due to height, size of type and the lighting was terrible. This is really a waste of time and money.

I attended the Titanic Dinner Show recently and although I found the experience a little odd at first (since its dinner theater), but it turned out to be pretty fun. We got there a little early on a Saturday evening, the event starts at 6:30 and literally they do not open the doors till 6:30pm. When you check-​in, you’re given a boarding pass with a story line in it, do not discard this as its a real passenger from the Titanic. There’s sort of a cocktail area with a cash bar as all the guests arrive. I was a little surprised how many people there were for a Saturday night dinner, probably 70 – 80 people and the Actors/​Actresses from the Titanic mingle with the crowd and stay in character the entire time.
Afterwards, we were given a timeline of events of how and where the ship was built with some additional introductions to other characters that will be part of the show the entire night. Afterwards we were led to take a picture with the captain in the grand staircase and then left to roam the exhibits. At the same time, the characters continue to mingle with the crowd. We waited around for dinner that even the characters started complaining why it was taking so long and how they’re going to complain. Not sure whether this was part of their script or not lol. Everyone is then seated in round tables (similar to cruises) and dinner gets served. But the show doesn’t stop there, it continues throughout the dinner and gets more entertaining.
In terms of the food, its fairly basic American food with a salad, chicken, beef, side of vegetables and potatoes. I didn’t find the food that tasty but then again, I didn’t go in expecting to be blown away by the food (think cafeteria food but its plated and served to you).
I won’t go into much more detail as it does become a little more entertaining as the night goes on. Overall the event lasted much longer than I expected it to be but I definitely began to enjoy the experience. I applaud the actors and actresses for staying in character throughout the night and for putting on great performances. I’m sure its rather difficult to do, especially with an occasional heckler type comment from the crowd about how we’re gonna all die ! no sh*t sherlock…
The experience was enjoyable overall and I would recommend it, maybe for adults, families with older kids or history buffs. I thought the exhibits were somewhat limited, I would have preferred to see more the differences in the various «classes» but that could be me. Definitely a change from all the theme parks in the area.

I was toured by A 17^th years old «man». He was so amazing to introduce the main part of Titanic tragedy. The only thing i ever knew about the Titanic since i met this guidance was technology mistake that the engineers made, too simple to step on that mistake… Check it out with this museum, you won’t be disappointed

The tour was interesting for everyone. They try to help you experience the event as much as possible. Good for a one time visit.
I would give it 3.5 stars if i could.

This should be called the «Titanic Era Exhibit «because only about 5% off the pieces here are actually from the Titanic. All the antiques are from the time period, made by the same company that made items on the Titanic or from one of the ship companies other ships. We took the guided tour and then went back on our own after the tour and read all the cards. Titanic Era.
Our tour guide started with an Irish accent that was gone before the tour was over. He seemed liked he would rather be anywhere else.
If you live in a fantasy world, go see this and play make believe. If you want something real find a better place to spend your money.

My wife and I went to the Titanic Gala Dinner ($ 69 per person) that they have on Friday and Saturday nights and were very disappointed. The performers do a lot of bad ad libbing and bad acting along with some bad singing. The food was barely edible. Also, the event couldn’t decide if it was light-​hearted entertainment or a somber memorial to those who died on the Titanic and it veered harshly from one mood to the other. The exhibits were interesting but the dinner event was awkward and unpleasant. Altogether, this experience was a night to forget.

A very good Titanic museum (a lot better than the one we have here in Belfast, where the ship was built!!). Lots of artefacts to see that were recovered from the ship, and the staircase has been recreated to perfection. You can get your photo on it or get you photo on the front of the ship! Other cool things include an iceberg (it’s really frozen) and a part where you can see what it would be like being on deck on the ship. Oh and you get a boarding pass with a real guest’s name and details on it, and at the end you find out if you lived or died on the Titanic. A really interesting experience!

Not really what I expected but a really fun time none the less. Fantastic staff, so friendly. You can tell they truly love there jobs. I even cried at the end. Great experience

You get a card of the of the guests that was on the titanic ship. You walk thru and at the end you find out if you survived or not. Nice learning experience.

Would definitely recommend this attraction! Our tickets to board had the name of an actual passenger, and at the end, you got to see if you lived or died! Our guide was amazing… funny, informative, and he cried on cue… which made me cry! (Also got to touch an iceberg!)

Audio Tour was great! Artifacts were amazing!!! It really brought life of the Titanic!!! And gave tribute to those who lost their lives.
However, there should be a warning or disclosure that the exhibit is FREEZING!!! like 40 degrees. I wish I brought a jacket and gloves because I was uncomfortable most of the exhibition!

I got into this free for a teacher event so I can’t say much for the price. Overall the experience was ok. There wasn’t TOO much to see and I wasn’t exactly impressed by the presentation. It’s ok for a rainy day.

I have been studying the titanic for 2 years and everytime I learn more about it I get more fascinated by it but when I recently visited the titanic orlando not only did it give accurate knowledge about the people and the ship but you also have an experience as you are part of the peoples lives that were on that maiden voyage. So when I am being asked why such the love of a ship that sank 1912 my answer is its not about the ship its about the people and Titanic Orlando allows you to feel it.

Based on the mixed reviews I read, I wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy it but I was pleasantly surprised. Like everything else, there are usually discounts available (I found a 20% off coupon online).
The first room of the tour, your tour guide, dressed in authentic garb, introduces himself and introduces you to the owner of the ship via video. The next room is the shipyard and the following is the ticket office. Then you get to experience the inside of the ship from the artifacts, a recreation of the grand staircase, even the cargo hold.
Now when you are checked in for the tour, you are given a paper ticket with the name and information of a passenger on the ship. Once you make your way through the boiler room and brave the freezing temperatures of the deck and captains bridge, you find yourself in the memorial room. There you will look up on the walls and find your characters name; my character, despite being second class and female, perished when the ship sank.
Next you get to the room with an actual iceberg! The iceberg is 31 degrees and they have you hold your hand there for 10 seconds. It was freezing and was pretty painful; I can only imagine floating in water that cold for 40 minutes (although most didn’t last that long). They even had a huge portion of the ship available to see in the final room.
Although I came in with low expectations, the tour guide really brought the tour to life with colorful stories and even some cheesy jokes. If you need something to do near international drive to kill an hour, it might be worth your while.

A good option on a rainy day, but the lack of genuine Titanic artifacts and the relatively short amount of time it takes to see the exhibit (less than an hour) made me feel that I didn’t really get $ 20+ per person worth of entertainment. The iceberg at the end was the coolest (no pun intended) part of the museum.
Just a tip: No photography was allowed so don’t even bring the camera.

I am a HUGE fan of Titanic. The actual ship, the history, and the movie.
After paying you get a boarding pass with a random name and information about that passenger. It’s an actual passenger who was on the Titanic. I was Ethel Clarke, and oddly enough I was a newlywed! You go through the whole tour, starting with a video about the history then go from room to room and see actual items from the ship and replicas. The guides are all dressed up, speak in an accent, it’s really pretty neat. There is even a balcony, with an iceberg, and the air is cranked up so you get the feel of what it was like out on the water. Near the end, after the crash, you see a list of survivors to see if the person your pass made it. I survived! The guides went through kind of quickly, but don’t worry, they allow you to wander back through on your own. I saved my reading and pictures until that time.
There is also an extensive gift shop and you get to take a few pictures and have the option to purchase. Admission was a little steep. I found a coupon online somewhere. I’m glad I went.
Oh, pictures are NOT allowed. I managed to get quite a few before I was told to put my camera away but that kind of bummed me out.
