Kayak Rentals — Single ($ 13/​hr) and 2-​person (tandem) kayaks ($ 16/​hr) — 2 hour minimum Canoe Rentals — 2 person 15ft Grumman aluminum canoes — $ 16/​hr (can accommodate 2 adults and 2 small children) — 2 hour minimum Stand-​Up Paddle Board Rentals — Jimmy Styks 11ft soft top SUPs ($ 18/​hr) — 1 hour minimum 18ft Electric Duffy Eco-​Tours (currently available on weekends) — Up to 8 passengers and piloted by experienced tour boat captain /​tour length is 1 hour ($ 15/​person) Picnic tables are available onsite for birthday parties or other group events along with gas grill rental ($ 10/​hr) Hiking and bike trails are nearby offering multiple options to view and experience Florida’s natural beauty and wildlife. Our friendly and experienced staff offer short paddling tutorials as part of our normal rental package. Many of our guests have never paddled before — what a great way to experience nature and learn a new skill! We offer 4 types of Team Building Exercises lasting 1.5 to 3+ hours for 6 – 10 member teams (corporate, civic, sports, etc.). Educational field trip classes are now being offered M-​F mornings for grades 3 and up. We offer a combination Eco-​Florida curricula with canoe handling. Rich M.

Business Owner

Rich is co-​owner and has been a kayak tour guide in the Central Florida area for over 15 years. He was a founding member of the Osceola Blueways Committee focused on expanding the Shingle Creek paddling trail to eventually reach the Everglades.

John (JJ) is co-​owner and has been a kayak enthusiast for the past 4 years, often helping Rich with large kayak tour groups the past 3 years. He previously was a faculty member at the Univ of Central Florida and has extensive experience as an organizational psychology consultant.

Went with my two sons and boyfriend. The people who work there were very nice and seemed like they loved their jobs. We saw beautiful birds, turtles and alligators. It was beautiful and definitely suggest this adventure for all

Shingle Creek was simply amazing. It was so surprisingly beautiful and calm. I stopped with my boyfriend for a quick kayak trip before catching our flight back to NYC and it was everything we could have ever hoped. The staff was relaxed and super nice. It was a great price for 2 hours, we saw lots of cool birds that swam around our kayak and cute turtles. We were a little disappointed we didn’t catch a glimpse of any otters, but we will be back for more on our next trip.

This is a great outing for friends or for a date :) Such a beautiful spot, and the staff is absolutely amazing. They are all so helpful and SO nice, and are definitely out there to ensure you have the best time. It’s not too far from central Orlando… definitely worth the drive so check it out!

Great staff, beautiful scenery (make sure you go south!!!), alligators (if you’re lucky) and lots of cute turtles! For us, it was kinda tiring to go north and south for a 2-​hour kayaking session, so if you’re not a super star athlete, I recommend that you just go for a 1 hour session, and go south– it’s so beautiful! Definitely recommended!

We had a BLAST! We visited last weekend and had a wonderful time! The park itself is absolutely beautiful and the crew working there were all very informative and helpful. We initially had reservations for paddle boarding for 2, but changed to Kayaks upon arrival. It was the first time either of us had kayaked. It was a great experience and we will definitely be returning!

We loved it! Making reservations was easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The two-​person kayak was clean and dry. We took a leisurely trip down Shingle Creek, a serene, peaceful river that is an anomaly in the busy Kissimmee area. Kayaked UNDER 192, an extremely busy road no matter what the time of day. We’ve already made plans to return and kayak when we come back next year.

SPECTACULAR!!! The Shingle Creek run is unbelievably beautiful and tons of fun. I kayak often around the state, but this little 2 hour run is perhaps my favorite.
It’s a fairly short run so it’s great for people without experience, but even experienced kayakers will LOVE it. We always bring out-​of-​town visitors here and they are amazed at the beauty right in the middle of 192.
The staff is the best around. Not only are they super nice, but they know their stuff. You can be confident renting from them and they will make sure you have a great time.
Perfect little getaway from the city and the parks. HIGHLY recommend!

This might have been the greatest kayaking trip I’ve ever taken. My boyfriend and I were down in Orlando visiting the parks. We had 1 day left and being very outdoorsy people figured we would take advantage of the nice weather. The website in itself was very easy to navigate. We called and made reservations the night before and the kayaks were ready for us when we arrived the next morning. We chit chatted with the owner and his assistant for a little while. They were wonderful people and very knowledgable and passionate about kayaking. We have gone kayaking a few times before however they took the time to explain everything, the easiest way to paddle, and how to move along. Honestly, I can’t say it enough, AMAZING STAFF AND EXPERIENCE. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be back.

Beautiful scenery and friendly staff. Even though the rest of Kissimmee was foggy this morning the kayaking area was clear. The water was calm to slow current. Very easy 2 hour trip with 5 and 7 year olds. Excellent kayaks that kept us dry. They provided a dry box and life jackets but the chances of getting seriously wet seemed slim.
We saw turtles, egrets, vultures and one lone snake. If we went the other direction we would have seen more birds. The kids and wife throughly enjoyed it. It was fun to explore the swamp land with little chance of getting lost. It was serene with few other kayaker but the place was right off of busy 192 near a Walmart. I would definitely repeat if in the area.

Helpful and enthusiastic staff will help you choose and rent a sup canoe kayak or take an electric boat tour on picturesque and quiet Shingle Creek nestled in busy Kissimmee. Great getaway from the busy area. Paddle through braided channels in a cypress forest.
