The Crow

Jeremy is the man! He was such an outstanding bartender/​owner. Definitely recommend this place especially for their happy hour from 5 – 8 on Fridays (AYCD $ 20).

Crow and Company or «The Crow» has turned into a favorite for my friends and I. The bar tenders are always so friendly and the owners are awesome! They even set up balloons on a night that I asked about their specials over Facebook and said that we would be coming to celebrate a birthday. Cold beer, great atmosphere, personable staff. This place is just great!

I am a fan of any downtown bar that recognizes that there is a back up of women waiting for the bathroom, that no one is using the men’s room, and promptly cleans the men’s stall to help us ladies out.

I’m confused about this place. They recently relaunched as a «whiskey house» under the auspices of Crow & Co. Supposedly it was to be a high-​end whiskey joint coupled with some craft cocktails on their menu. Neither of which exist.
I asked for a menu to see their craft cocktail offerings. No menu. Upon ordering the usual way at a craft place (Courtesy, Hansons, Woods, etc) I got deer in headlights followed by back n forth banter on possible ingredients for the drink. Note, I’m not a bartender; I can barely make a cran/​vodka, so I’m just as lost. What I more or less got was a modified margarita.
I asked the bartender if their clientele has been ordering whiskey now that they’re supposedly a whiskey house. Negative. Nor do they order craft items (obviously). It’s still the same turn n burn crowd as prior. Vodka/​sodas, shots, rum/​cokes,… When I asked about the intended concept vs actual product, they shrugged their shoulders saying that management wants them to do quick, high volume pours.
The venue is spacious & clean. Restrooms are definitely a notch above similar bars. Liquor selection was decent.
Will pop in if there’s an event but won’t be going out of my way for normal drinking.

Miss the old Matador, but so far it’s good. Good mixed good drinks… Cranberry, pineapple and Tito’s vodka (Seabreeze). Hahahaha Husband ordered a Yuengling. Good for a moderate size crowd. Courtney is awesome. I’m so drunk. LOL j/​k Heard Thursday is college night. AHHH! Love the blue backlit bar! Chill here. Drinks are done right. Thanks for the suggestions of bars you like, Courtney!

The crow is awesome! Fun music, cool bartenders and an all around great vibe. I recommend it :)
