Fifi did a wonderful job on my Pixie cut. She knew it was gonna be a big change for me so she took time to explain to me what to expect and ask my opinions along the way on small details to make sure she created the perfect style that I want, and she did, perfectly. Very satisfied all the time I’m here. They are all good!

It is very tiresome to try and book an appointment here. I called and left a message and no one has gotten back to me. The stylists are good, but scheduling sucks (am I not welcomed here or something?). I’ve taken my business elsewhere.

Hailey is the best! I have been trusting my hair to her for a few years now! She has fixed my hair and perfected the ombré! She is flexible and takes her time to make it sure you are happy! I am more than happy every time! Ask for Hailey! She is a color artist!

Being new to the Orlando area, I had gotten my hair done as a quick fix. It was brassy and orange-​looking, with an orange chunk in the front that made me look like Rogue. When it came time for a touch-​up, I knew I would be going elsewhere. That’s when I found The Color Bar Salon.
First of all, I called on a Friday two weeks before Christmas, taking my chances as I knew they would probably be busy. Nope. They took me in for the next day, right away! When I walked in, I was immediately offered coffee or water and shown exactly where the coffee bar is. I had my appointment with Kaela — who is AMAZING. She asked me if I had any pictures, took the time to talk about what I was going for, and offered insight on what I should do to correct all the brassiness. I trusted her immediately and am so glad I did because my hair came out looking incredible. This was the lightest that I have ever gone but Kaela and Fefe (not sure how to spell that) made sure that it wasn’t too dramatic and that most of all, it compliments my skin tone and coloring. This was such a huge change for me but I am SO GLAD that I listened! Best of all… my Rogue piece is gone forever!!!
On top of the hair service being amazing, so was the customer service. The salon’s owner, Nadia (spelling again lol), was so approachable and SO friendly. Everyone in there was! You can tell that the hairstylists are just like family and help each other out as much as they need. On top of that, I had so much fun laughing and chatting with the girls! My appointment was a little bit longer due to all the work that needed to be done on my hair, but it flew by because of all the fun. They included me in their conversations and it definitely did not feel like I was just a «customer». It felt like I had been going there for years — which I will be!
Overall, my experience was AMAZING, I am in love with my hair, and I almost wish my roots would grow out faster so I could go back and see Kaela and the girls again! I highly highly HIGHLY recommend The Color Bar Salon to anyone in the Orlando area who is looking for a one-​of-​a-​kind hairsperience (hair experience hahaha) and I am never ever going anywhere else!

This salon is simply put amazing. I have been frustrated about not being able to go completely blonde for quite some time and have visited frequent salons in the past such as in style hair and dolce vita salon, came out unsatisfied every single time. After visiting fiorella and kaela at the color bar salon I finally got what I have been wanting for about a year now lol. Fiorella is an amazing stylist! I enjoyed how she made me feel very comfortable throughout my hair transformation journey and informed me of everything that was being done to my hair as she was coloring and styling it. She is also very open to answering any questions you may have about your current hair goals and hair care. Fiorella and Kaela are just simply put awesome ! I couldn’t ask for better stylists and will never replace these ladies. I haven’t found such good hair service from these ladies since I moved to orlando generally speaking you can not go wrong with any of the stylists at this salon! Unlike most stylists these ladies will take their time with your hair and not rush you out the door. They will make sure you leave the salon being nothing less than satisfied with your hair. I Highly recommend if you want a total hair transformation (like me) or are just looking for something different than your normal hair. The atmosphere in this salon is also very relaxing, awesome music, overall a wonderful salon! I give it 5 stars all around, my experience was wonderful.

Kaela did her thing on my hair! She took her time, I mean literally, over 16 hours in total. She did a great job and achieved my hair goals of grey! She’s the best

I went to Kaela at the Color Bar for the first time to fix disastrous highlights. After my consultation with her, I decided to do a solid blonde ombré. Kaela is very nice and knowledgable but also upfront about everything. From the start, she made sure I knew it would be a process to get my hair to the color I wanted. Two sessions later, I could not be happier with my hair color and my haircut. Kaela is seriously the Einstein of hair.

Went here last weekend to get my hair cut. Used Unilocal to find this place. Read all the reviews before going. Great place. Def going back! Great service, love my hair.

Kaela invited me to stop in even though they were closing for a free consultation. I showed her several photos of pieces I liked from different girls and she put all of the pieces together just as I’d hoped! She gave me perfect Belage high lights for my natural base color and the exact bang I wanted! She even took the time to show me how to style my new hair! When I was waiting for my lightener, I watched as she guided another stylist how to get the exact blend her client was asking for. The other girl also walked out with amazing hair! After my hair stylist retired about 10 years ago, I’d only tried a handful of new people since then. I’ve been cutting my own hair doing basic layers. But now, I will always go to Kaela! She’s amazing! I hope she never retires either haha

I’ve been blonde for over a year now and have been looking to switch things up and add some strawberry red to my hair.
I went in and showed Kaela 3 photos of the general color I wanted. She spent a lot of time putting thought into what colors to mix and what would look best with my skin tone. After deciding, she offered me water and proceeded to tell me about the variety of treatments Color Bar has to offer. She was never pushy, but rather very informative, helping me to select one that was right for my hair. She checked on me constantly while the dye worked its magic. I decided to do the KeraGlaze treatment and buy the Perfection Mask for home. Also, I had Olaplex added to my dye.
When I finished, my hair felt and looked better than I can ever remember. I loved the color while my hair was wet so I knew I’d love it even more dry. I was right.
She took time to blow dry my hair straight and straighten it as well. When we compared the outcome to the picture I showed her, the colors were identical.
Most definitely will be returning to Kaela and Color Bar!

Just went here for the first time and had an amazing experience! My daughter had Lily and she gave her a really natural ombré that looked wonderful. I had Kaela and when I told her I wanted to go purple, she really made sure I had a one of a kind blend that looked phenomenal! I’ll be back any day!

Kaela was fantastic. I love love love my new hair! She turned my dead, straw long hair into something super cute based on only one picture I showed her. I’m visiting from Seattle and I paid $ 70 for my last haircut, and got a choppy mess. Therefore, I was nervous about getting my short hair after that traumatic experience. She made me feel great about my hair and textured it. Wonderful, even with Asian hair that can be hard to style! Will definitely be going back.

Kaela colored and cut my hair today, and I am so happy with it!!! This is probably the best cut I’ve ever had. Kaela not only listened to what I wanted, but she applied her expertise to give me the look I wanted beyond what I even knew to ask for. I already have my next appointment!

Haley is amazing. I came in with a dark auburn red and wanted grey. We thought it may have to be pushed into two sessions considering how dark my hair was but she spent an entire day (8.5 hours) dying, washing, & drying me hair! I love the result! I’m going back to get a darker grey but overall absolutely would recommend :)

I came into the salon with an auburn dark red hair color but wanted it to be a bright, bright red. Kaela took the time out of her schedule to get me in the very next day. She explained every step of the process I needed so I would know exactly what she was doing to achieve the bright red color. I had extensions I wanted my hair to match also so they would blend well. The end result was my hair matching the extensions EXACTLY! It couldn’t look more perfect I’m in love with it! I’m so thankful she took her time to keep my hair healthy while also getting it to the bright color I wanted. I love that she not only listens to what you want, she does what you want. Anyone who needs anything done, especially color go see her!!! She’s awesome :)

Ok. Two stars. Why? Let me tell you my sad story. I came for my appointment at 9 am to get a balayage done and a hair cut. I was there for 15 minutes outside, alone, with no one to open. I went back to my car and waited for the girl to arrive and open the place. That’s fine. We’re all late sometimes, that happens. Next, she started my treatment. She was nice and we talked for a bit. Once she started drying my hair, I saw what a horrible job she had done. I’m sorry, but I’ve done this myself before, and it wouldn’t ever look that bad. I kindly asked her to fix a couple parts, and she was very nice about it and went ahead and fixed it. And by «fixed» I mean ruined. Imagine a strand of hair with brown, ORANGE, and then blonde. Brown & blonde, ok. Orange. NO! Then I told her I didn’t like it once again, even apologizing for being «picky.» She gave me some attitude, but said she would fix it. Guess what? She didn’t fix it. I had to go at this point, because it had been 3 full, long, stressful hours. But I did manage to come back at 5 to speak with the owner. I explained the situation to him and he was very kind. Very very kind. He said that he would have another worker take over and fix the issues. I was very happy. I mean, annoyed with having to sit there and have the other girl stare at me for a while, but I was getting my hair fixed. It looked great when I left. And then in the morning, in the sun and at work, I saw BRIGHTER ORANGE. Granted, all the other problems were fixed, except for the orange. I give up. What the hell? They had several chances to make it good, but didn’t. I ended up going to Hair Cuttery in Waterford lakes and wonderful Lee fixed this nightmare. Oh, did I forget to mention that they charged me $ 150!!! Unbelievable. I would ask for my money back, but honestly. I’m tired. I love the owner, he’s great and has a great business mindset, but the hair stylists are sub-​par at best.

This is my second time coming to Color Bar. Both times Lilly Rose has blown me away with her skills! I came in for a red the first time and I left looking like a natural red head. Today, I’m leaving as a copper blonde and I LOVE it! Lilly takes good care of you! She works hard and really cares about the end result. I’ll be back for sure.

I believe Hailey did my hair and I absolutely love it! I came in with a picture and she dyed it almost perfectly to what the picture looked like. She talked me through the process and told me why she was doing everything. She also gave me tips to upkeep my hair and repair it from any further damage. I was offered water and I was checked on multiple times. It was a great experience and I would definitely come back and recommend coming here.

Let’s start with the positives. Everyone working here was friendly, and listened to what I wanted to do with my hair. My stylist took her time coloring my hair, to not miss any spots. Also, they provided me with a drink since the process was long, which was sweet of them.
The negative was that I had an appointment scheduled for 12pm, but was not helped until precisely 12:50pm, which I thought was a bit unprofessional. And before starting the process, I specifically told them I do not want to be blonde, and do not want brassy orange hair. And guess what I end up with? Brassy orange blonde hair.
I guess this salon isn’t meant for everyone, I do not recommend this place if you have Asian hair, or extremely dark hair. I really feel like I wasted $ 150 down the drain.

I went in to have my hair color corrected after a poor experience elsewhere. Leah took one look at my hair and knew exactly what I needed to recover. She mixed up a toner and voila! My hair went from orange to a lighter shade of brown. THANK GOODNESS.
The salon itself is nice– it’s not super fancy or modern, but it’s clean and comfortable. There were people in every chair, and everyone seemed happy. There were even African American women having specialized treatments done. It appears that this salon meets the needs of a diverse clientele, which I love.
As I told Leah, I WILL be back.
