This place is staffed by the most USELESSPEOPLE!!! I’d rather go to the DMV than ever go here again. My washer recently broke and when I tried to dry the very wet clothes the weight broke my dryer as well. I went to southside cleaners because they were close to me. Even though they quoted DOUBLE the going rate for wash and fold. At first the lady looked at me like I was crazy when I arrived. Having to ask around to find whoever told me on the phone that they could do wash and fold. They then brought over a scale. I informed them of my problem and asked for their help. This is a simple problem as it’s ONEBAGOFLAUNDRY!!! Wash it then dry it then weigh it. SIMPLE. Well not to these idiots !!! They insisted that it must be weighed first even though it was sopping WET!!! AVOIDLIKETHEPLAGUE!!!

They ruined a black jacket of mine and when confronted, they rudely insisted that, no, they didn’t. When I explained it had to have been done there because that was the first time the jacket had been cleaned(I almost washed it at home but figured I’d be safe and go to cleaners… so much for that idea), she simply ignored me. This place appears to be under new management… and I wouldn’t trust them.

Do not use this dry cleaner, even if the price is enticing. I took two garments to get cleaned, a skirt and a shirt, neither of which had stains on them when I dropped them off. If they had, I would have asked for spot treatment because who wants to walk around with stains on their clothes? When I picked them up I noticed there were two weird beige-colored discolorations on both of the garments(which were white). I told the employee that the stains were new and they said they would fix them. I came back the next day and the stains were still there, and I was told that the stains were already on the garments when I dropped them off and that I was«lying» when I said they weren’t. There was no remorse, no offering to pay for the garments or even to just give me my $ 5 back. Honestly, if I had just received some good customer service, I wouldn’t have been so incensed, but I’m definitely going to take more severe action because of the way the woman yelled at me, called me a liar, and refused to fix the damage she did to my(expensive) garments. If you want your garments to come back safely and like to talk to employees who actually care about making you a happy customer, this is not the dry cleaner for you.

Postcript: Today when I visited, I noticed a prominent sign over the counter which declared, «A Florida I.D. is required for pick-up without a receipt.»
