Scotts LawnService professionals provide lawn care programs customized to your needs, including fertilizer, tree and shrub care, pest control, and other lawn services using exclusive Scotts products.
Scotts lawn service is a good company. The problem that exists is when they put down a pesticide AKA anyone it will by Florida law only last so long. This is for YOUR safety as a homeowner and the Florida aquifer so your drinking water doesn’t get polluted. Its a tough balance watching your lawn for bugs and reporting to Scotts and they will be out their to treat it in 24 to 48 hours for treatment. I am a past Scotts lawn care salesman and i can tell you its not easy for the homeowner or for Scotts to catch everything. You have to be realistic and work together on the issues. NOTE: You have more weeds because the lawn is getting fertilized and more bugs because the lawn is green and lush.

Cinch bugs have destroyed my lawn. I put my trust in Scott’s, and am horrified by the current condition. A service manager agreed to plant some plugs, but it will be quite some time before my yard looks close to normal again. After six months I expected to have a more beautiful yard. Instead I am embarrassed. Buyer beware.

Do not use Scott’s Lawn Service. We used them for at least 6 months and we have more weeds than we did before. They have ruined our lawn. We are having to replace all of our grass(~$ 1500). Not worth the cost and ugly lawn.

I started using their service to get rid of weeds on my lawn. They started spraying in April by the time I cancel in Aug, I had more weeds then ever before and my grass started dying due to chinchbugs. I wouldn’t recommend them, Bad Bad service.

Used service for approx 2 years with limited to poor results. Every anniversary they raised the price of the service by a couple of bucks. Started at $ 35 and I cancelled them at $ 38.50. I wanted them to visit every other month which is plenty, but sometimes they would come twice a month. 9 times in one year and then would start the season again the next month. The service agent would spray a very limited amout of product on my lawn. It never really greened up. Still had many problems with weeds. If you don’t pay the bill within one week, you receive robo calls once a day. Just became unsatisfied with the service, the results and high cost. I began spreading my own Scott’s product and had immeadiate results. Sales manager Dave called back two months later and wanted to know why I quit them. He gave me some salesman BS and wanted me to come back at $ 36 a service. I told him no as I had someone else doing the lawn and had an agreement with him. Dave then told me that the state of Florida does not allow contracts and I could get out of it. Told him I would think about it and would call him back if I wanted it. Two weeks later his service agent shows up and sprays the lawn. By the time I got out side he was done and gave me a bill. called Dave back and he said it was a misunderstanding on his part??? They are just a bad company doing crappy work and charging too much.
