Never again! I don’t understand the positive reviews for this salon. The first time I had my nails done here, I asked for a gel manicure. It chipped after 3 days. I returned and Lisa fixed them free of charge. She did a nice job fixing them. After that, I decided to give them another try. What a mistake! I stopped in at lunchtime to make an appointment for that evening. Lisa was off that day, so I made an appointment with Kim. When I returned, Kim was just starting a manicure. She asked me to sit at a station and had me soak in acetone. After nearly 20 minutes, she started the most rushed, sloppy manicure I ever had. The water I soaked in was COLD! She used unsterilized nail clippers! She wouldn’t let me keep my nails under the uv lights the full 2 minutes between coats, which resulted in smeared nails. When I pointed it out to her, she said I wasn’t putting my hands in correctly. What? I tried to explain to her that I needed two full minutes between coats, but she wouldn’t listen to me. She did a poor job correcting the smudges with the top coat and finally let me keep my nails under the uv for enough time to dry them fully. She never put cuticle oil on my nails before I left. Update 10⁄28 — Less than 24 hours and the Polish on two nails is peeling off. I will not be going back for a fix. I wish I had left the moment I realized that the tools weren’t sterile. Save yourself a bad experience and avoid this place!

If I ask how long before I can be seated don’t say ten minutes then look at me every time I make a move because you’re afraid I’m going to leave when you realize it’s been beyond ten minutes! Then don’t try to stop me saying I can take you right now when I do walk out the door after waiting thirty minutes. Granted it was a Friday at 3pm when I walked in however, don’t lie and say something is going to take a few minutes when it really is going to last longer that that. Wasting my damn time, I could have went and got something to eat or whatever!

If I could give this salon 0 stars, I would. I was getting ready to go on a trip for New Years and I needed a gel mani /pedi prior to leaving. Based on the other reviews I read for this nail salon, I asked for Tony. Let me just preface this review by saying I have a hard time giving a negative review unless I feel strongly about my experience. I had already chosen an OPI gel color for my nails, but Tony started on my pedicure. He told me he would match the color for me. Although he did have a match, the brand was something similar to Wet N Wild — not a quality product you would want on your nails when paying for a service you hope to last. This was after I repeatedly asked him if it was OPI in the beginning and I got a roundabout answer. Overall, the pedicure was very subpar. He would get up in the middle of it to go fix and rearrange magazines at the nail drying station, etc. And although this may seem below the belt, his breath was terrible. He was all the way down at my feet and every time he spoke, I had to hold my breath to avoid the terrible smell. My massage was done with NOLOTION. I was so shocked I didn’t even know what to say. I have a hard time complaining to someone’s face in the moment. The paint job on my toes was also terrible. At this point, I came up with an excuse why I could not stay for my gel manicure. He had the nerve to ask me to pre-pay for my gel manicure for when I could come back In later. You’ve got me be kidding me! I left immediately with a sloppy paint job and went to Bliss Nails, where I had the most amazing experience and I haven’t been to another nail salon since. Bliss is great — the owners take pride in their salon — and Phan is the best nail tech, although all of their techs seem to be very good. DONOT go to Royal Nails.

I went with a girl friend because of how many positive Unilocal reviews they had. I like this place. It seemed a bit rushed I did a regular manicure and I’m happy with the service but the customer service wasn’t my favorite. I had kim as my nail tech and she didn’t seem friendly at all. My friends nail tech was a very sweet and funny I wish I got her name. Personally I feel like being friendly is very important to me when I go to an establishment. The service was good and I would go again. The location is very convenient. They are very clean as well.

I’m so glad I came here on my visit to Orlando. The price was very reasonable and the staff were all very nice. I got a pedicure and manicure which cost $ 32. The massage chairs here were wonderful and the place was clean.

This place was awful. First of all the technician wouldn’t stop making idle conversation which, perhaps to others, wouldn’t be such a bad thing… however It was not what I was really looking for during this particular visit. Trying to be s subtle and polite as possible I tried to discourage the talking, which was not successful. The chatty Kathy could be overlooked if the service was good however the pedicure was not, by any means thorough and included a quick 30 second light scrub with the pumice stone that did absolutely nothing and ZERO cuticle removing. The manicure was very much the same… little to no actual removing of dead skin around the nails, simply a file, massage with some lotion and application of nail polish which I could have very easily done myself and not paid what I consider an outrageous amount for the terrible service provided. I will not be return to this location and urge any perspective customers to reconsider before they go here. Extremely disappointed.

Great service! Very clean. My nail tech was Frank and he was nice, met my needs. Very precise with my nails and how I wanted them. Although I was there til after 6, I didn’t feel rushed at all! So close to my house so it’s very convenient. They’ve definitely earned a new customer.

I love this place! For the most part all the technicians do a great job, usually satisfied when I leave. Their customer service is awesome and they work hard to create real relationships with their clients. My only complaint is the wait, oh boy on a weekends it gets super busy. The afternoons are prime time, so make sure you have the time to lose. I guess this speaks to their popularity as well, lol. Other than that this place is great overall!

Just had my Shellac manicure with Tony and it was amazing!!! He took off my previous gel acrylic I had on, nice and gentle with no discomfort. They have so many colors and though I used to pay $ 25 in Chicago so at first I thought it was a bit steep to pay $ 30 but the job he did was so worth it. He just cleaned up my cuticles, no over cutting like many places do and buffed my nails nice and shiny even after removing the acrylic. I am very happy and would be more even if it wasn’t because I am moving to the other side of the airport and won’t get come back if I’m not already in the neighborhood. A year and a half in Florida and I finally find a Nail spa I love only weeks before moving away from this area… argh! You must get here and ask for Tony!
