I first met Sabrina three years ago when I found out my Sisterlocks were not installed correctly by another Orlando certified professional. She educated me and explained her services. I was bitter from the first interaction (with the other hair professional — I felt scammed) so, I then decided I was going to do maintain my own hair using a device called a «Nappylocs» tool and do my own thing (withOUT taking the Sisterlocks training course). Two years later, my sisterlocks were filled with holes, stiff in texture, I had TONS and TONS of build up intertwined into each and every dread (thanks YouTube for that one) and I was hating my hair. I hide my hair and felt ashamed of it’s presentation.
I found Sabrina online and her reviews blew me away. I initially felt bad because I had really dogged her professionalism and education, thinking I «knew better» years back. She remembered me and was BEYOND classy and mature the second time she met me. She was patient, understood my position and my initial mistrust towards her due to my previous situation. She kept NO grudges, said NOTHING about our history and did three months of new growth in an hour and a half (plus a deep, deep shampoo — she knows what she is doing and does it well)! I see her monthly and she keeps my head snatched, looking amazing and has repaired the many years of damaged I’ve caused myself. Nothing is more humiliating than damaging your own hair and then seeing a professional after you’ve ruined everything. She never said «I told you so» (even though I deserved it). She’a a professional, talented, amazing woman. She cares for you on a personal level and the health of your hair. Your hair shapes your face and who you are, invest in that. Don’t wait, don’t ruin your hair. Seek a professional if you haven’t taken the Sisterlocks course. You’ve never met someone like her, she IS natural hair.
UPDATE 4 MONTHS LATER –
My hair line has been saved by this woman. My hair line was a mess before. I had tons of breakage and weak and thin follicles, my hair line was receding slowing. I glanced at myself in the mirror this morning, girl! My hair is THICK, HEALTHY — I almost cried. My hair is finally something I’m 100% proud day-​in and day-​out. She is amazing! Who else can retighten Sisterlocks in 56 minutes?! No one.

I really did not know what I was doing before I met her and wished that I had met her 8 years ago when I stopped using the creamy crack. I would have retained all the hair I grew since then. My hair has never been happier or healthier than it is right now, and I am thrilled that I finally know how to treat my hair now that she has taught me what I should be doing.
Forget what Not H is saying. It is strange that someone would sit in Sabrina’s chair and not speak up about anything they didn’t like when her style of dealing with clients is one of collaboration and consultation. It’s the first time I have had a stylist that understands that once I leave the chair I am on my own and need to know exactly what to do and not to do. She will tell you the way that it really is without pulling any punches. Her candor is refreshing, her advice is priceless.
Anyone who understands biology (ahem) knows that you lose about one hundred strands of hair from the root daily. The amount varies with the phase of hair growth and from person to person but hair is constantly dropping out. If you do not remove those strands you’re begging your hair to form locks. As the most tender headed client Sabrina has, I can tell you that no ripping of strands was happening. Instead she was trying to remove the four and a half years of dead strands from your tresses. Her special shampoo process is amazing yet quick. Your hair will feel like you just grew new softer, pliant strands.
Yup, unlike your typical vid bloggers operating only on what works for them, Ms Sabrina understands the science of it all and has the benefit of working with many different clients and tons of experience. Sabrina knows natural hair! After living in Europe last year and straightening my hair so much I have plenty of heat damage :(I really want my curl pattern back and have been looking for a natural hair stylist to start my journey back to healthy hair. I made an appointment on her website and the morning after I saw her. She taught me so much about what I need to do to take care of my natural hair, we talked about everything from different tools to products that better suit my hair needs. She washed conditioned and gave me the cutest hairstyle that I have been rocking all week.
So happy I found Sabrina and I am confident she will get me back on the right track to healthy hair.

Sabrina was wonderful. No more sitting waiting for your turn; your appointment time is your appointment time. As soon as she looks at your hair she’s analyzing what she can to help you hair feel and look healthy. And she’s good at it. She gives a great wash also, which is important for me. I loved the way she tightened my hair. My hair is not thick. She found a way to enhance it to make it look fuller. She’s not in it just for the money.
Most of all you can trust her with your locs. She’s a keeper!

if you enjoy & value a personalized experience, if you appreciate, your stylist’s attention focused on, YOU, for the entirety of your appointment! if you are punctual, & find it annoying, that after you have prioritized & made it too your appointment on time, only, to sit & wait another 25 min to be seen??? if you expect that when you make an aptt w a particular individual, that, that person, is going to, Wash, «treat», etc. your hair, not 2 – 3 diff people? if you expect, not, to be left sitting, waiting in the chair, while your stylist, tends to someone else’s needs!!! if you are looking for a stylist to nurture your hair, a stylist, who is open too, & available, to communicate w you about your hair needs… then, you are looking for, Sabrina Davis, Queen of Roots! she is So Worth it!
